「Leider haben wir die heißeste Zeit erwischt, das machte den Urlaub nicht wirklich entspannt, aber das Haus ist ein Traum und das Meer war glasklar. 「The villa was fantastic and the gardens and the pool were perfect. As a large family visiting the area the villa catered for all ages. 「Calabria is a province of hilltop villages and just outside San Vincenzo La Costa is this peaceful mountain refuge. The driveway is daunting at first but passable in any car and easy once you have done it. Host Claudia stocked the place with jam, bread and coffee and did everything to make me feel at home. There is great hiking from the house and even better a short drive away, and it easy to access all the wonders of Calabria in an hours drive in any direction. I cannot wait to come back.」

「Though the villa is out of the town (you should definitely rent a small car) once you get to the villa, it is serene, spacious, clean and inviting.
