Excellent location, close to most scenic spots and restaurants. The hotel seems to be in a preserved building and has a very good vibe. The interiors are not well maintained, a lot of places need to be repaired and clean. The bathroom is very small and not ventilated. Overall, the staff are friendly and helpful.

This building is very old and full of charm. The location is perfect and walking distance to everything in Old Quebec. Be mindful that it’s common for very old homes to have been built vertically, and as such, there are tons of stairs! Also, I noticed when booking that the hotel only has two stars, so I went into it with a 2-star mentality. As long as you keep that in mind, you will be fine. The staff are incredible, the goodie baskets were above and beyond what you would receive at a 4-star hotel, and you could feel the love radiating inside the old walls that have no doubt seen a lot over the years.

I enjoyed my stay overall, especially because of the great location and the convenience of easy parking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made a positive first impression. I also appreciated the welcome basket with snacks and drinks, as well as the coffee machine in the room. The room itself was warm and comfortable, which was especially nice. The hotel has a more traditional, older style, which travelers may want to be aware of. While generally fine, there is some room for improvement in terms of upkeep and cleanliness. The bathroom was quite compact, and the shower head was leaking during my stay. Guests are also expected to change into slippers inside the hotel; slippers are available on site for an additional charge, so it’s something worth keeping in mind when planning your stay. Overall, a pleasant experience with several thoughtful touches, particularly suited for those who value location and friendly service.

Wonderful young staff eager to make your stay as excellent as possible. Asked how the temperature was in my room, for instance, they adjusted it and added a heater when I said it was a little cool in the room, and only because the staff asked me about it.Great location looking out in the mighty St. Lawrence River and the fun toboggan track. Appreciated the snacks in the fridge and the variety of drinks in the room with coffee maker and kettle. Short walk to the Christmas markets in December. I would only caution anyone with mobility problems, that because of stairs inside and also at the front door this cozy and quaint hotel may not be for you.
