“The stay was exactly as mentioned. The bathroom got locked from the inside a few times, but the owner was kind enough to come in and fix it for us. Also it was a mistake from my part that I ignored, the living area/ entertainment space is a walk down the road. So the barn itself is just to sleep. If we wanted to grill/ hangout we had to use a common area which was mostly uninterrupted. Just a couple times, guests from the tree house would visit to use the bathroom. The place is clean. One……

“Beautiful cabin in the woods, yet just a couple of miles from restaurants. Lots of hiking which was why we were there. Clean cabin, easy checkin/checkout process. Good WiFi. Home away from how feel. Definitely recommend!”

“Bill and Lydia have the most wonderful home. The house is beautifully stocked. From the community pantry, to a drawer filled with toddler sized plates/cups/utensils, to all of the kitchen gadgets one might need- the house was perfect!! We were 6 adults and 4 kids ranging from age from 6 to 6 months old. We took along our dog. The bedrooms have warm fluffy linens. The bathrooms are stocked w shampoos and soaps. The basement cabinets hold more puzzles, games, toys than you can actually play with.……

“This is a great location for people who love to ski because it's so close to Killington ski resort. The layout is also great for a few families to stay together because the kitchen and living room space is on a different level from the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a lovely stay, the kayaks and canoe were the feature of one afternoon and we greatly enjoyed paddling around Lake Pauline and checking out both dam areas. The house is very clean and well maintained, we fell in love with all the windows and light coming in the bedroom across from the bathroom. The quick walk to the sugar house was a feature for my kids, they also loved having the wii in their room and playing Mario kart with their aunt/uncle.”

“We loved our stay. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for our family. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen ever. Better than being at home even! Really loved the porch area for storing ski gear. The hot tub felt great. Loved all the windows. So much light and great view. The only small draw back was it’s not a true ski in ski out. The trail is close but you do need to walk a bit to get to it. Overall we had a great visit and would stay here again!”

“Our ski group reunions look a little different these days with little ones, but this house is perfect. With two floors and private bedrooms for all, we has 12 adults and 3 small children stay comfortably. The communal space is awesome with a long table for "family" dinners and socializing. Two refrigerators is clutch with such a big group and the proximity to killington skyship and bear mountain lodge make it SO easy to have a group of skier/non-skiers without being too far away. “My family really enjoyed this Lake House. The beautiful views of the lake were breathtaking. The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. The kitchen was functional and generally well equipped. The beds in the house were particularly comfortable. We enjoyed early morning coffee on the deck with perfect views of the lake. The location was great. Lots of wonderful hiking trials in close proximity. My only suggestion to the owners is to give the house a good deep cleaning. Nonetheless,……

“Great house! Small issue with getting into the place with the keybox, but was quickly resolved. We had a great time, it was so comfy, great place to come home after a long day of skiing, exploring, etc. Lots of room to spread out with the family and nighttime hot tub soaks in the cold air were so refreshing!”

“The property was clean, spacious and had lots of natural light. It was very close (driving distance) to all we wanted to explore. It would have been nice to have more instruction on the heating systems and pellet stove. We read the stove manual, determined it needs cleaned (badly) so cleaned it after we unplugged the vacuum (it was totally clogged and full). I could not get on the review link for vacasa. King bedroom door lock doesn't work properly, and I had to buy more toilet tissue. ”
