This 3 level apartment is perfect for your Queenstown getaway, with open plan living on the third level - unwind in comfort by the open fire and enjoy the lake and mountain scenes from the comfort of the sofa, or enjoy refreshing summer living on the deck... The BBQ is an ideal addition for cruisy al fresco living!

Located on level 2, bedroom 1 includes easy outdoor flow onto the deck where you can admire the fantastic views! Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedrooms 2 & 3 have queen beds. On the ground floor, bedroom 4 has twin single beds.

To complete your convenient Queenstown base, there are 2 bathrooms on level 2, one of which includes a spa bath for an added touch of luxury!

Everything you require for a self-catered stay with an upmarket vibe is on hand including secure off street parking, free Wi-Fi is for those wanting to stay connected, or simply unwind with your group and take in the iconic kiwi scenery. Misleading listing

There were numerous things that were misleading about this property on booking. The major issue being the 4th double bedroom was downstairs in the garage. Exposed to the cold, far away from others in the house and we were unable to use it as a bedroom which made sleeping arrangements difficult as a party of 8 (2 families). Another inconvenience for our travels was the washing machine was not working. When we called Bachcare they said they knew about this and therefore had not listed a washing machine on the listing, rather than get ot fixed. There were a few general maintenance issues such as broken tiles on front steps, blocked drain in the shower and temperamental gas stove top. The saving grace for thwis property was the spectacular view and proximity to town, a 10 min walk.

Good views but nothing else

The property was great in terms of its location to the town centre and the beautiful views of the lake and mountains. However, there was a clear lack of care towards the cleanliness and general maintenance of the property. The second floor ensuite toilet leaked and we needed to mop the floor 3-4 times a day. The other second floor bathroom had a sink that couldn't drain as the plug was stuck, there was also already water in the sink when we arrived. There was also an overflowing amount of rubbish in the garage that looked like it hadn't been emptied in weeks. The garbage disposal in the kitchen stunk like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. The fireplace hadn't been cleared of ash and there were cigarette butts in the ash bucket. The lounge balcony and front doors also need to be fixed as they are difficult to open. There was clearly not much care taken to the cleanliness of the property as there was handprints all over the tv, the table had crumbs on it and there was a lollipop sticking out of the tv stand. Overall, the views/location were amazing but the property needs to be cleaned alot better and serious maintenance needs to done as i don't believe it is worth the asking rental prices.

Queenstown Break

The property was in a great location with fantastic views. The only criticism would be the damp smell. It was noticeable when we first entered and very strong in one of the bedrooms, to the point where the couple using that room had to shift to the spare room down in the garage.
