Queluz National Palace

We had a great stay at Dorma Saldanha! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very affordable. For a 3-star hotel, it had everything you could ask for and was more than enough for a comfortable stay in Lisbon. The room was well-maintained, and the overall experience was exactly what we were looking for. Great value for the price, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Lisbon!

The hotel is really nice in general. We had a Sweet (bigger, nicer, more expensive) but noticed right off the mat, but it felt very hot (lots of windows, but also a lot of radiant heat from the sun. The air conditioner did not seem to be working very well. We asked them to check it on night number three, and they said everything was fine. But when we got back from dinner, it was very very hot. It was definitely cooler outside than inside, so we had to open all of the windows to let a little cool air come in, and threw the blanket on the ground and used only a sheet. It was still super hot all night, and loud as well because of surrounding noises. We hardly slept at all.

Hotel was clean and staff were very helpful/spoke good English. Location is great. Breakfast could have been better. If you want espresso / late , you have to ask for it since the machine is not in breakfast area.
