The hotel was one of the bests I’ve ever experienced while traveling!! Staff was so very kind, Rooms were clean, breakfast was diverse and nutritional, and the best part was seeing wildlife (monkeys, toucans, lizards) right from our balcony.

Mango Moon was an absolute highlight of our trip! We had the oceanfront view which was incredible and honestly worth it alone. The location is perfect, just a short walk or drive to the beach and surrounded by great restaurants. Santa Plancha is a must for the most authentic Costa Rican food in the area. The whole team including the owner were so welcoming and we felt completely safe with on-site security. Would go back in a heartbeat!

Das Meer ist von jedem Zimmer und vom Restaurant aus zu sehen. Man hat einen phantastischen Blick über den Wald auf das Meer. Man erlebt tolle Sonnenuntergänge. Am Hotel ist man im Dschungel und sieht Papagei, Tukan, Affe, Faultier, Leguan etc. Das Personal besteht aus Engeln, ist super hilfsbereit. Die Küche ist koreanisch, auch das Frühstück frisch und gesund. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at the Mango Moon Villa! The hotel is beautiful, and the staff was very warm and always helpful. We wanted to go to the beach and a lovely beach tucked in a cove, Biesanz beach, is a short 25 minute walk from the hotel. We also wanted to go to Manuel Antonio National Park and that was a short 10 minute drive away. There are a number of great eating options close by, and the hotel’s restaurant offers Korean food. One small suggestion for the hotel is to have a shelf or something else that bathroom toiletries can be put on. Otherwise everything was as expected. Thank you to Mango Moon Villa for making our stay very memorable and enjoyable!! 😊

This hotel was extremely disappointing and falsely advertised. The room we booked on Expedia was described as having a queen-size bed, balcony, and separate dining area, but it had none of these. The room was tiny, dirty, smelly, and located directly behind the restaurant kitchen, with loud noise from staff, guests, and a staircase outside our door until 1 a.m. There was no privacy—only a curtain covering the door. The bathroom was in poor condition, had very low water pressure, and we often had no water at all when the restaurant was using it. Smoke entered the room from outside, and we even encountered roaches. The owner blamed Expedia for the false listing and offered no real help. Due to the holidays, all nearby hotels were sold out, leaving us no choice but to stay. We barely slept and could not shower. We were refunded only $100, reluctantly. This room should never be rented to guests. I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff and the food and the views were all terrific! We sat on the balcony in the hammock and watched the sunrise and sunset, watched and listened to the birds, were amused by the monkeys. The breakfast was great each morning. Omelette and fresh fruit and yogurt and coffee and juice. Fran, the owner, arranged our excursions and shuttle to the airport. She was wonderful to talk to about life. Her Korean restaurant, carambola was delicious. We ate there several times. Jorge took care of us each evening at the restaurant. He was one of the kindest and gracious people we met. We had a wonderful time there. Family of 3 with a teenager!

Staff was so nice!! Beautiful views. The food is very good in the restaurant. The beach is NOT walkable! If your looking for walking distance to the beach this is not the place. The roads are very steep. All else was great! I’d recommend the panorama room :)

Very nice, unique hotel with an amazing view and an absolutely wonderful staff. The only downside was that the room was musty when we first arrived and required airing out. As well the plumbing requires attention as the water pressure is very low and the temperature can get very hot. I would worry for the safety of younger children. Besides that, the staff and the view makes this place an A+ stay.

Dieser Urlaub in Costa Rica im Hotel Mango Moon war einer der schönsten in meinem Leben.Man fühlt sich einfach nur wohl,umsorgt und man hat alles was man braucht.Es ist auch empfehlenswert während der Nebensaison zu reisen.Obwohl die Rezeption nicht oft besetzt ist und man sich Touren auf eigene Faust organisieren muss.Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und or Lage einfach nur atemberaubend.Der Blick au den Ozean und die Tiere,die man jeden Tag entdecken kann,sind einmalig.Man kann viele tolle Ausflüge in die Aushebung machen.Der Nationalpark liegt nur wenige Minuten entfernt.Und noch viele andere tolle Touren sind nicht weit.Pura Vida und vielen Danke für alles!
