The property is close to town, convenient. about 15 min drive to Manuel Antonio. The staff are very helpful and kind. But the facility itself is too old. The room has no sound insulation. you can hear next door even if they whisper. I had to knock on the neighbor's door and asked them to be quiet at night. The bathroom shower needs to be updated with better ventilation. overall it's okay.

Property looked like a motel , but we were pleasantly surprised, it was a cool property, well maintained, clean pool, decent restaurant, clean room, good air conditioner, solid shower, we were a group of 15, we enjoyed the stay. Only drawback is distance to Antonio park/restaurants, taxi was coating us $15 round trip, which is negligible

Overall we liked the hotel very much. Thank you. The facility is somewhat outdated from the outside (and inside, the shower room, which was not well sealed at the bottom so that water came out to the floor as we showered) so initially we were a bit worried, but the rooms are kept very clean. We booked two rooms (two twin beds each) which are connected through a kitchen, which made it very convenient for us. The best part is people working. The front desk is open 8 am-8 pm with a very nice receptionist. The people at the restaurant are also super nice. Also, the level of housekeeping was excellent. The restaurant near the pool is also very nice. Its covered outside location is very comfortable. Breakfast was included with the stay and had options of "typical food (Costa Rican breakfast)" and "continental". We had dinner there as well, and they should be proud of the quality of pizza. It is high quality and delicious. We did not use the pool but it was kept clean and lots of kids and adults were in there enjoying. If we were to have a request, the air freshener (?) or some sort of fragrance in the room was a bit strong. It may have something to do with the previous guest. It was not strong enough to give us a headache but it would have been nice to make it a bit weaker (or zero. I did not notice any hint of bad smell) Near the hotel is a chocolate tour, guided by Gregory. It is amazing.

Bon hôtel

Hôtel bien entretenu et propre. Environnement calme. Beaucoup d’oiseaux et végétation. Parking devant l’hôtel gratuit. Personnel très sympa. Chambre et salle de douche spacieuse. Literie confortable. Climatisation ok. Grande piscine avec transat. Bon petit déjeuner local à partir de 7h30. Pizza et pâtes au restaurant de l’hôtel très bonne. A améliorer : Enlever le calcaire sur la robinetterie. Proposer des serviettes pour la piscine. Avoir une fenêtre qui se ferme dans la douche car la climatisation a l’arrière de la chambre est bruyante. Parc Manuel Antonio à 20 mn en voiture. Réserver entrée sur leur site internet a minima la veille, créneau de 7h ou 8h recommandé car après il fait très chaud. Se garer dans le parking officiel qui est juste à côté de l’entrée : 4000 colons la place. Vu beaucoup d’animaux. Beaucoup de touriste mais possibilité de s’en éloigner. Très belles plages. Pas de bouteille en plastique, ni nourriture accepté dans le parc.

Très bel hôtel avec belle piscine et bon restauran

Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. La piscine est belle. Le restaurant est bon avec notamment d'excellentes pizzas. L'accueil est sympathique.

Lovely and relaxing stay

We really loved the place. Nice atmosphere and spacious clean rooms. Would’ve been easier with a car but also had no problem commuting by taxi (~4 usd to downtown). Great pizza in their restaurant. I wish there was a fridge in the room since the closest mercado is pretty far and it would be nice to keep drinks/snacks cold.

We (3 Canadians) booked this Hotel in the evening (on our drive from Monteverde Cloud Forest) to Quepos. We arrived closer to 9pm, the lady in reception was very friendly, gave us some extra towels for the pool (a beautiful pool), we requested for beer (around 10pm) while relaxing in the pool, the staff was very accommodating. We had to start early since the plan to hike in Manuel Antonio Park (a 10 mts drive from this location), the breakfast again was really good...opt for local or typical whenever you get a chance (to taste the local cuisine). In short, highly recommended and I'll definitely come back to this location!!!
