“We stayed in Cabin #2, the Beach cabin. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this cabin was. I wasn’t expecting much from a location listed as an RV resort. But our cabin was clean and cute. Super comfy bed. Fan in the room if you need it. Ton of television channels and streaming services. Outside fire pit. Pots and pans. Oven, stove and microwave. Coffee pot and filters. Salt and pepper. Utensils. It was super quiet. But we stayed there at the end of February and there were only 2 other……

“Our original lodging became unavailable to to an unforeseen circumstance. The staff at Manitou Lodge were so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying in the lodge and had a blast. The rooms were great and fit us well. The community space in the lodge was great as well. We were comfortably able to play games and spread out. The only thing it lacked was a kitchenette. “This was the perfect home to be able to gather as friends and family for a preholiday get together. Check in process was low stress and easy as well as checkout. Owners were very attentive to any needs we had. Plenty of space for all and just a short trip to the beach.”

“Manitou Lodge is in a beautiful tropical forested area. The Lodge and our bedroom were homey and nice. Our bed was the most cushy of all on our road-trip. The bathroom, however needs attention. The outdated pink tub had black mold everywhere! The sink area also needs replacing. ”

“Due to technical issues unbeknownst to us, the campground isn't actually open for another month. We found this out after booking, driving there, setting up our site, and sleeping one night. Explains why our site wasn't cleared or cleaned and no bathroom/shower/or waste facilities were available. But, we paid for 2 nights so we stayed for two nights. All that being said, this was probably the best campsite I've ever stayed at. 4 stars only for lack of communication and no facilities at the time.……

“The Lodge is lovely and is much cozier than the photos showed. It's so well equipped with games, books, huge fireplace, comfy couches and native blankets to wrap up in if desired, interesting artifacts in a very quiet forest location. Our room, Sacajewa, was very nice, just as the photo's showed. My only suggestion would be to confirm a day ahead that the code to the lodge and room would be left for you and the bedding for the couch if you asked for it and the remote for the fireplace work. “What a wonderful and secluded space. Our site was close to not only the portapotty and shower, but the trash can and camp sink as well. Very reasonable rates, easy communication with hosts. Really made everything easy and perfect. My wife and I really enjoyed the two cats 🐈 on the property and walking around! looking forward to coming here for many anniversaries moving forward.”

“For reference, we stayed at site 21. Campsites 1-12, were ideal. From there, there was a great variation from campsite to campsite. Some had a walking path to the actual site and some were more easily accessible. Car space is super limited. The biggest area of improvement, from the perspective of our campsite, was bathroom and water access. Otherwise it was a nice campsite. We were able to fit a 6P tent in our site, but I wouldn’t say all would be able to. The rain shower!!!! To be honest,……
