“Was charged an additional USD$300 of tourist tax because I booked the hotel room without breakfast (I need to attend breakfast meetings with business partners at other places), thus the Hotel told me I failed to fulfil the criteria of a "package" required by the Colombian government for tax exemption. The hotel said they only offer room+breakfast but Hotels.com sells the breakfast as an option. The cost of breakfast for all 5 days will be much less than the tax charged. The confirmation letter……

“The pictures they post aren’t what they seem. Got a room where the bed and everything in it didn’t match the match the picture I reserved for. The moment I walked it I could smell mist in the air, the bed had plastic sheeting on it and an oversized bedsheet. I asked for an upgrade and was willing to pay extra but they said I couldn’t do it on the reservation I had. It gets noise around 5:30am. It was an okay hotel.”

“Me gustó que estaba limpio y cercano al aeropuerto. No me gustó que se escucha mucho el ruido del exterior en los pasillos, que se escucha la ducha en otros departamentos y que el piso de la regadera estuviera muy resbaloso.”
