The staff is absolutely wonderful : always ensuring you are having a great experience. It's very quiet and close enough to different places to visit or to the activities to do in the area. "We absolutely loved our stay at the Pinta! And I couldn’t recommend it enough. Ana greeted us both with a hug when checking us in which was a nice welcome! The rooms are clean, nicely appointed, and it felt like a lovely respite after a day of exploring. Definitely a stay more for couples since the nicely sized bathroom is separated by a generous drapery, but it didn’t bother my husband and I, we liked the whimsicalness of the design. Breakfast is delicious and served in the lounge with a plentiful selection. Short walk to restaurants and a pub in the village. And around a 25 minute drive to Pinhão. Highly recommend! It was one of our favorite stays during our travels through Portugal!"

"This hotel in the Douro Valley was a complete surprise-breathtaking scenery all around with walking access to the vineyards. It had a beautiful chapel onsite and indoor sauna and steam room as well as small indoor and outdoor rooftop pools. Amazing!"
