「This was a perfect place to stay for the weekend as we were in town for a soccer tournament. Very close to downtown but far enough away so it was quiet and very convenient to all the highways as well. Christian made it a very easy check in process and was in communication with us before our arrival as well as checking in after we got there to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again in the future when we come back to Richmond! Thanks for a great weekend stay!」

The only negative really is the first impression from the street. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and is only accessible from a private parking lot beside the building and up a big set of wooden stairs. At first appearance, we were a little nervous because we didn't know the area, etc. But once we climbed those stairs, we realized we were in a safe area and...

「We came into town looking for a room where we could walk to the Science Museum and get a ride to the Bottom for dinner. Our stay was excellent and would book here our next time in RVA. The property was exactly what you expect in the Fan. Also very clean, and the coffee and snacks were a great touch.」

「Great beds and the unit had everything we needed for a quick stay. The host, Mr. Devine gave lots of great info about the area and was helpful all around. We loved walking around the neighborhood and found Brewers Cafe to be a delightful stop for local flavor and great breakfast sandwiches. The only negative is that this is an apartment style unit, and there was quite a bit of noise from other the units 」

「We had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment. It was a perfect space for my husband and our baby. Plenty of space for the 3 of us, and everything was perfectly clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee and enjoying the view. The neighborhood is also fantastic! Lots of little shops and restaurants within walking distance. We visit Richmond regularly and think this might be our home away from home from now on.」

The state capitol is 30 minutes walk distant, same for the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center. Memorial of the notorious triangle trade (Liverpool-West Africa-Richmond) is in Shockoe Valley, 25 minutes by foot from your room. 「Church Hill neighborhood is great. Place is perfect for a couple & has everything you need. Never had trouble parking. Traffic is a little noisy, but I slept fine and I’m a light sleeper. Will definitely stay here again.」

「Does not reply to messages at all……. Check-in time was 3pm. Had not received any info about checking in at 1pm. Customer service reached out to help and couldn’t make contact either. At 3pm I called customer service back and after 30 mins with them , host finally responded with property was unavailable…. Host could have cancelled but didn’t …… VRBO customer service was very helpful in this situation.. Thanks to them…..」

「We had an enjoyable stay on the houseboat. The bed was comfortable, and the accommodations had everything we needed. We even made spaghetti the first night for dinner since we arrived later than planned. The area is private, we only saw a few people and those we did see gave a friendly hello if they didn't stop to chat with us. For anyone wondering about the movement of the boat, it is very stable. The boat is docked in a channel off the main river so not a lot of boat traffic and the currents...
