“It was a quick getaway for me and my daughter. We had a fishing tournament. The host were great on helping me get inside with the door code. I was having slight problem. It was at 10:00. Appreciate them answering at that time. Place was clean and beds were soft. Bathrooms were modern and clean. It is close to Lake Fork, but on a smaller lake. This is nice as well. Will come back.”

“We lacked for nothing.The beds were very comfortable and having separate bathrooms was great. All the comforts of home and then some. The enclosed back porch was our favorite hangout at night. It was exactly all we needed and I would rent Hank’s Hideaway again.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Junior's place. Thankful for how close it was to the lake. This place was very clean and organized. We will be coming back. Fishing in the pond was a fun bonus on the property. There's a great fire pit that my teenager wanted to use but we ran out of time. Thanks for the great place to relax.”

“We really enjoyed this house. Quiet location and has beautiful views. We spent time on the dock and porch. I recommend checking out Los Pinos Ranch Winery when you visit. Owners were quick to respond to questions. We highly recommend this house.”

“We enjoyed the home, ability to relax and just a clean comfortable place to visit. It was close enough to Mineola to make several day trips to the train museum, sample some of the sights and visit Cleta’s treat shop. Pleasant and friendly owner that made our stay very welcoming.”

“We had a lovely 3-night stay. The cottage was cozy and clean. The bed was very comfortable - soft, but not too soft. Pillows were great. Enjoyed a bonfire and smores at night; coffee and turtle watching from the boathouse dock at sunrise. We had a perfect view of the eclipse from the dock. Luckily, the rain clouds held off until after totality. Internet connection was strong and supported multiple devices. We were also able to smoothly stream movies in the evening, even with a thunderstorm……

“Unfortunately we were in town for a Memorial Service; but we were able to spend quality time together in this home. It's a beautiful, rustic cabin with all the amenities. Barbara, the owner, was very helpful. Lot's of wildlife and farm animals in the area adding to the relaxing ambiance. And having a taco truck in walking distance was "icing on the cake "”

“Very nice and quiet place. Cute house and beautiful house decor. Really loved the Christian decor, make us felt home knowing that the owner is Christian too. We had plenty of space, it can fit a pretty good size family but only have 1 shower though. Kitchen is cozy and tight space but excellent condition of appliances.
