A very good option for your longer stay - superb location

It's a very good place to stay, the location is SUPERB, right on Shyris across from Parque La Carolina and on several major bus lines make it easy to get around metro Quito. The apartment is well appointed, although be aware that the photos are an example and might not be exact. We had one issue, we suspect a power surge damaged the fridge and the microwave - but as soon as I let the owner know he arranged to swap them. Very responsive! The door staff at the building are great, and can be a font of local knowledge. I will suggest that over the many VRBO properties a couple of things that could greatly improve things for the future guests. When the apartment is cleaned after a guest, if they leave behind things that won't spoil like unopened packages of pasta, salt, pepper, cooking oils - they should be left in a designated spot in the kitchen for the next guest. That would really help those that come behind. The better VRBO properties I have stayed in include a local information booklet, the information in where to take the trash / recycling, where the nearest shops are, and a few of the city guides that you can get for free from the local tourist information centers. Those small things go a long way toward getting a guest who is in Quito for the first time off to a great start. I might also suggest a water service for drinking water for the apartments, of at least a couple of 500ml bottles to get new guests started (many of which arrive in the middle of the night)

Hi! I was a little dissatisfied with the apartment. First, they moved me to a different place that I originally booked, there were limited towels, utensils, broken chair, broken window ( I couldn't closed ) and it was cold at night… I rented for two nights, but I couldn't stay like this. We left after the first night.

The property is very well located, and host answered questions and requests all the time(excellent) however the property requires some maintenance such as: paint, replace some light bulbs and upgrade the TV in Master bedroom.

This a bittersweet review, I was charge for a damage that I honestly did not do (perhaps it was overlooked from the previous occupants), the reason that I made the decision to pay and not to dispute was because the property manager was great, flexible and he reply to my texts immediately, the building is super secure and the lobby guards were friendly and polite. The apartment is a beauty, the location was excellent, so many places near by (restaurant, stores, coffee shops, etc.). This was my first time staying / rented an apartment. I learned an important lesson, I should inspect the apartment for any damages and reported right away. I would definitely recommend this place, no doubt about it.
