「We have family about 30 min away. The location was perfect. We did get a little lost finding the villa but the host Valerie helped us all the way. Valerie was amazing she couldn’t do any more for us. I would recommend not arriving in the dark unless you know the area. The views are amazing you could never get bored! You will need a car to get around the roads are so quiet and so smooth to drive on (we have lots of pi holes were we live). Great if you love cycling like my partner he rented a bike...

Le chiavi dell’appartamento tutte unte. Il pavimento? Sono più puliti e dritti i sanpietrini di Roma! Il camino carino e funzionante, ma una diavolo di scopa per togliere i resti della legna la vogliamo fornire agli ospiti? Che dire…...

「La casa è perfetta, non manca nulla ed è tenuta in maniera splendida. La zona è ideale come punto di partenza per chi vuole visitare il parco del Gran Sasso. Il paese è molto piccolo e mancano alcuni servizi utili come il bancomat, ma comunque nei paesi vicini si trova tutto. Se dovessimo tornare in Abruzzo torneremo sicuramente ad Ofena.」

「Great house in charming medieval town. This house has four floors and a roof terrace. There are a lot of stairs, but we knew about them ahead of time, and it was not a problem. We shopped at local shops, which are very close by, and made several lunches and dinners in the ground floor kitchen. Very well stocked with everything we needed. The town has many restaurants within an easy walk. We spent time at the nearby lake, renting a boat and having an aperitif. There are many churches to explore...

「Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen in Decontra verbracht.Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, auch in der Küche fehlte uns nichts.Der Pelletofen im Wohnzimmer funktioniert tadellos. Das ist wichtig, abends wurde es kühl Anfang Mai.Jeden Tag haben wir den Ausblick auf die Hügel und Berge genossen und viele Wanderungen in die Umgebung unternommen. Dies ist definitiv ein Ort für Naturliebhaber. Eine Einkaufsmöglichkeit gibt es im Ort nicht aber ein Restaurant. Sitzmöglichkeiten für die Gäste sind...

「The host ended up being extremely kind but we never received any communication or confirmation from the host after booking. Our rental was paid in full at the time of booking and we received confirmation from VRBO about our upcoming stay (address, etc) but no response from our host when I sent her a couple different messages. The day we arrived, we tried calling the host and got no answer but we randomly ran into her on the street near the rental. She apologized and said she was having issues...

「The pictures do not do justice to this great apartment! It is fresh, modern and well appointed. Our host went out of his way to welcome us and was easy to communicate with. We were two couples traveling together and the apartment worked out well for us. The panoramic views over the old town and then the mountains beyond are breathtaking! The location is excellent for a visit to Sulmona, minutes away from sights, shops and restaurants. 」
