「We had a lovely stay at Acara. The host was a joy to converse with and very accommodating. The location was excellent and made it easy to visit many vineyards, beaches, and shopping in the surrounding area. The views of the mountains, vineyards, and horses from our cottage were also a highlight. We look forward to visiting again! 」

「Ideal, 30 min drive from CPT airport. Security on gate present all night for late arrivals, so fine to get in late if flight delayed. Breakfast very good, restaurant in grounds amazing and great value. Rooms a bit dated but comfy large beds so no problem sleeping. A great bar for arrival for a few nights in exploring the Stellenbosch area. Will book again !」

「Hawksmoor House ist ein klassisches, 300 Jahre altes Capholländisches Bauerngehöft. Wir waren zuerst im Herrenhaus untergebracht, dann in einem Nachbargebäude. Beide Zimmer waren ausserordentlich schön. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Zu bemängeln gab es nichts. Allerdings sollten Reisende wissen, dass die Anfahrt über einen unbefestigten Weg erfolgt. Wifi gibt es nur im Herrenhaus. Nach einer Corona-Pause könnte hie und da die Fassade frisch gestrichen werden. Aber dies sind wirklich winzige...

「Comfortable bed, spacious room and very friendly & competent staff. The location, on a walking distance to the city center of Stellenbosch, is also perfect. Only negative: the pool is a bit smaller than on the pictures, you can't swim a lap in there. Also had some problems with the AC.」

「This was a great stay! I absolutely enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again when I’m back in town. The only thing to note, which I also mentioned to the property team, but they may consider adding an instruction list to the welcome packet on how to operate some of the appliances in the unit. I’d like to think I’m pretty tech savvy but I accidentally set off the smoke detector by boiling water - turns out I there was an air vent that I had no idea existed, that should have been turned...

「If you're looking for somewhere to sleep for the night, this is a great value for the money. If you're looking for comfort, maybe spend a little more. The rooms are cramped and the window is TINY. There are no good views, or elevators, however, the staff are always friendly and the parking is safe. 」

「Beautiful, relaxing, small winery. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We booked last minute and didn’t notice the stay included a complementary wine tasting, which we missed because we checked in late. Claudine made sure to let us know and arrange the wine tasting the next day for us in their cozy and beautiful cellar. It was a delight to try the wines and hear about them from Claudine. We would definitely recommend Lovane for anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly place. 」

「Allen and the other staff were great! It is a 1880 Mansion with 8 guest rooms and impeccably restored/maintained filled with antiques, just very relaxing. I would highly recommend for its charm, location and staff. Satori Restaurant 5-10min walk down street is Amazing food and service (ask for Shantell). Highly recommend!」
