“Location was great and close to nearby State Parks and attractions. Very clean and nice amenities. Even for short stay host provided bottle of wine and small gifts for our stay. We had a comfortable quiet stay away from the kids. Would rent here again if we return to the area. Priced well compared to hotel and much more space. Host was helpful on the holiday to clarify location and parking instructions. We had a lovely holiday getaway. ”

We also really appreciated the mud room—it was very convenient for storing skis and equipment—and the kitchen was well stocked and thoughtfully labeled, condo clean. “There was adequate space for the 4 of us. The TV was massive, and the hot tub was a cool amenity. The kitchen was large and had anything you would need to accommodate. For the most part, this vrbo served our purposes of needing a place to stay near our true destination and offered enough amenities. A couple things to note, however, that could be improved.The check-in process was weird. Typically you would be sent all the information for your stay, including everything you would need for check in……

“Area is beautiful! Loved looking at the river and mountains! Wasn’t crazy about the set up of the house. Was only 2 bedrooms with a sleeper couch and bathroom is off of main bedroom. Easy check-in and communication was excellent. ”

“It was fine for one night. The floors are wonky & slanted so it’s off putting. It’s right next to a main road & the windows or insulation must be old because it was very noisy because of the cars. ”

“Apartment was upstairs from a bar which wasn’t a problem at all but we did notice a heavy sewer type smell which seemed to be coming from the bathroom. We bought some candles and some spray to help. The room wasn’t dirty at all but the smell was pretty bad.”

“We found this apartment at the last minute of our New River Gorge National Park trip planning. It turned out a hidden gem to us. The apartment is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Oak Hill, a perfect home base to visit New River Gorge and other state parks in the area. The apartment itself is cozy, charming, well lighted and spotless clean. We feel so comfortable and relaxed as at home. all appliances are well kept and properly functioned. Towels and bed sheets are soft, nice and available……
