The dyke invites you to take a walk along the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft nature reserve. The tranquillity makes you forget that you are on a vacation island. You can reach any beach on the island in no time at all by train, car or bicycle. Enjoy soothing baths in the Baltic Sea and discover the beautiful natural surroundings with imposing chalk cliffs, rugged cliffs and extensive national parks and nature reserves. The towns of Stralsund and Altefähr are also within easy reach.
