“This two bedroom Vrbo rental looks cute and clean in the pictures, BUT when we showed up to the place it was just about the filthiest house I’ve ever stayed in. Sheets were clean but comforter had stains on it, and bathroom had a light clean at best. There were stains from previous pets in the carpets, black mold on the shower walls, everything was sticky, floors were filthy. Kitchen was also not well stocked. When we asked them if they could possibly come and clean the carpets and shower they……

“Prior to our stay getting the guest agreement signed was troublesome. AI or software glitches. It was resolved prior to our stay. Host was quick to respond and was helpful. The apartment was clean-ish. The most important things such as beds and linens were fresh. Floors- bathroom, living room… just had lots of “stuff”. Other than that I’d call it tidy.”

“You get what you pay for. Inexpensive and place to sleep. Has some definite challenges as a location and surroundings. Behind another house and we got blocked in twice. Not very clean, very limited basics(silverware, no coffee cups, etc.). It worked but not what we expected from add.”

“Much needed maintenance items include fixing bathroom tile work, rear exterior lock, and heating system. There was only one blanket for two beds on a cold night. When checking the bedroom before leaving, we discovered someone before us had left a butcher knife in the nightstand of the rear bedroom. None of the lamps were plugged in because of a lack of outlets. Apparently they are for show only. The ad showed a bungalow but the property was a two story Victorian with three apartments.”
