"Highly recommend! Hotels closer to the reef might not be as luxurious and comfortable; Hotels more luxurious won't be has as much marine life or as good for snorkel. This is def the best of both. Room as clean and beautiful as the photos show. We saw more varieties of fish snorkeling around the dock than going out for a snorkel tour. The Hol Chan marine reserve had better spot for snorkeling than the one near the island, so you can take tours somewhere else and just enjoy your time around the island while you are there. Night snorkel is unique and awesome there, must try. Foods were always good! Very good portions too! You don't need the meal plan at all, just the a la carte will be best value! Staffs were all awesome. If you are up for interaction, they are all your friends. Front desk staff John and Floret are knowledgeable and friendly. John answered so many of my curious questions about the resort! Noe is our favorite at the restaurant. He has a romantic love story if you are lucky enough to hear him share about it 😆. Captain William will tell you about celebrity's fancy private island; Snorkel guide the "Dude" takes good care of you and is funny; And many other staff, Raquel, Jose, Morris, Jr, Rasta... all had great vibes. I've stayed at resort with nice staffs before too but this one REALLY made a difference. The human connection actually is one of things I enjoyed most there! Luxurious, private, good food, good company, snorkel right off the shore, it has it all"

"The care in representing the King Lewey Resort and attentiveness of the staff was professional yet warm and kind. The food was exquisite and prepared with attention to details. The prices were reasonable. As a solo traveler, I felt at home and safe on the Island. A wonderful lifetime experience."

It’s an environment that really lets you relax.And the staff…WOW! Chef Marvin’s breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were amazing. Fresh flavorful and full of local vibes but still accessible and tasty for the less adventurous eaters in our crew. Leslie came in daily to clean and keep the place lovely. The boat crew were awesome…loved traveling with with them. Always there when we wanted to get around the island…courteous and fun and super safe.Property manager communication was very proactive and pleasant.BEST VACATION EXPERIENCED AND BEST VACATION VALUE EVER!"

"This house was just as described. It was beautiful and felt like home! Having no AC was no issue at all. The breeze sweeps through the house and keeps it cool and there are fans in each room. The deck was great. We saw dolphins and manatees. We really enjoyed floating in the water right off the dock and watching the beautiful sun sets. Edwin was a great host but Jaden, his son, was pure magic. He showed us all kinds of sea creatures. Entertained us with stories and we loved every minute of his company. Edwin was always ready and willing to take us anywhere we needed on the boat and gave us great recommendations for excursions. Mael, his partner blessed us with some homemade fry jacks. I’m not sure our trip would have been as fun without Edwin and his beautiful family!WE WILL BE BACK! I urge everyone to give this beautiful property a try. "
