The family suite slept us well but needs another sink outside the 1 bathroom and needs ventilation fan in bathroom. Breakfast was nice but ran out of food items an hour and a half before closing. Roomy but a bit run down. Kitchen area was not swept when we arrived. Good value for large group though.

This hotel is in a super boring area, but the hotel itself is a great, very clean, and very comfortable hotel. It feels very new. The rooms are absolutely huge and very comfortable. Highly recommend for a mid-level hotel.

Easy to find and very clean.very accessible to restaurants and church. We didn’t like that our toilet wasn’t working so we reported it and they said maintenance would look at it and he never came so we had to try and deal with it!

This experience had opportunity to be terrific but their staff is absolutely awful. We stayed for two nights and everyone we encountered said the same thing, horrible staff. 15 minutes before breakfast ended, staff removed access to the juice and began shutting down and removed one of the waffle irons despite there being a line which then made it take twice as long for everyone to be fed. One morning they refused to provide more batter for the waffles because breakfast only had 30 minutes left. If you serve breakfast until a certain time then you should stay open and keep things refreshed until that time. When asking any of them questions they were so hateful. We come through Rapid City frequently, but we will never stop here again.

I booked this Hotel for the 85th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally to be in the halfway point for all the things we intended to do. Easy access to get back on highway. Plenty of trailer parking. The hotel even provided a bike wash section. We had a suite and was very spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Housekeeping was spot on with all of our requests from full service to requesting more towels. Breakfast had a lot of options eggs, potatoes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fruit, yogurt, waffles, cereals, pastries and the ladies kept very stocked and clean. The only issue we had is one of the kitchen help had took out trash and we went to put our breakfast trash in trash can and she had a fit making all kinds of grunting sounds like we were not supposed to put our trash in there mind you it was 8:40am and breakfast wasn’t over until 9:30am so seemed like she was trying to get an early start to clean up but got upset with us because we put trash in her clean bag. I even tried to ask her was she mad because we put trash in there and she would not respond except that she dug that trash out of the trash can and brought it into the back. Other than that unprofessional and unnecessary incident our stay at comfort suites met our expectations and definitely will stay there again if we come back to sturgis but hopefully the lady in the kitchen that doesn’t like her job hopefully she will find something else she enjoys doing because customer service is not her thing.
