「This cottage was perfect for our 5 year anniversary get away. It’s close enough to attractions and shops/restaurants/breweries if you want to explore. It is also nestled just outside (2 min drive) of all of this to allow for a beautiful secluded stay. My husband and I enjoyed all had to offer. The fresh eggs and bread (dairy free bc I can’t have dairy) were a special touch. We would return! Edgar and Elizabeth were wonderful hosts. I even took home fresh eggs for the week. 」

「This location is beautiful! It is very relaxing whether you are by the lake, the pool, or just walking around the property. The fishing was a lot of fun and there’s a good variety of fish. Also, there is a reason most reviews comment on how nice Tabby is. She is a very lovely person! The space was very roomy and clean. It was myself, my husband, and our two kids, and we fit very nicely in the space. I think the coffee bar was my favorite! I would very happily stay there again! 」

「Beautiful and restful as always, my partner took the opportunity to learn to fly fish and he caught some nice bass. I enjoyed lounging in the screened-in porch and reading. Location is convenient to Luray and Shenandoah NP」

「We rented this property to do an away game night with friends and it was great. The set up was perfect. The view is stunning. The central space both upstairs (kitchen and living room) and downstairs are very open, leaving a great ability to interact with each other. Everything we needed was there, the beds were super comfortable. Also, I'm always nervous renting on here out of fear that the host won't communicate enough. That was never an issue. Josefine made sure we had the instructions...

「Our stay was amazing - beautiful property with beautiful views! We loved seeing deer, view of the the pond nearby and the sky is so clear, you can see satellites and shooting stars very well.The owners were so detailed and friendly to leave treats and firewood for the fire pit on the patio. We stayed outside every evening. We plan to return, as the peacefulness and proximity to local attractions that they even recommended was perfect. Loved this booking! 」

「We loved our stay here. If you’re looking for a private, quiet, and secluded place that is still convenient to good restaurants, wineries, shops, and historic sites, this place is for you. Our host was so helpful, and her dogs were an added bonus. We would stay here again.」
