"We stayed at the Wavesong Cottage for one week. It's big enough for a family of 5-6 and offers a cosy and spacious livingroom with a fireplace. In case of requests the host answers quickly. Pennan is a small village and the neighbours are very friendly. We enjoyed our time there."

The house is so beautiful and cozy we immediately felt so at home, and the property was stunning, with beautiful fields and sheep and an incredible view all the way to the sea from the hot tub. "The cottage is excellent. It is really well appointed and spacious. Garden is lovely and the dogs loved exploring the stream - sorry for the barking! Location is great for the coast, with some really beautiful beaches within a short drive. Overall, we loved the stay and would definitely return."

"This was our 5th stay and we love it. It’s so peaceful and has everything you could need. Allan, the host, is great at keeping in touch and always available if needed. Fully recommended for those who love walking and the peace and quiet. But close enough to Aberdeen and other surrounding town. Close to the Brewdog bar and restaurant at Ellon which allows dogs and lovely food."

"OMG! You have to stay here! Anne & Dougie are extremely welcoming and attentive hosts. The Yurt we stayed in was so clean, comfortable and warm which was needed as it was freezing outside - the hot tub was needed! The cabin had everything we needed in it. The communal room was very well laid out with lots of entertainment for all ages. The location was perfect for a relaxing break and we will definitely be coming back!! Cannot recommend enough, the quality of the whole site is excellent!"

Well situated with great views of the harbour, the property is spacious, clean, and well-equipped. For those working remotely, like myself, wi-fi is fast and reliable, making it easy to stay productive. Can't recommend their place highly enough for a relaxing week away from the city."

"On arrival at Waterside Hotel, found the car park was mostly filled with work vans, so wondered if it was the right choice for a couple, but on entering we found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, the TV was set on the dressing table blocking the mirror.
