Great and vibrante at night with all the little restaurants and places to enjoy the culture and music. The only downside of the property was the lack of air-conditioning."

"The accommodation was very spacious and very well presented. Large recently renovated kitchen with thought given to every guest requirements. Bed so comfortable, best night sleep we have had. Garden looking over sunflower field and grape vines behind the property, very private with garden furniture provided to enjoy the fabulous views. "We just had a 1 night stay on a Sunday (which did limit our dining options). Hotel is walkable (with luggage) from/to the train station, which added to its already very good value. We enjoyed its quiet location, short walk to old town (to see the “required” statues of Cyrano & the river). Clean & comfortable room. We did not partake of breakfast. Pleasant & helpful staff (helping me to print some required paperwork & advising on dining options)."

"We have just returned from a brilliant couple of weeks at La Roche. The house and setting is lovely and so peaceful. We loved sitting in the garden or by the pool and listening to the birds. The house itself sleeps 8 and upstairs is a/c which was a relief from the 34 degree heat. Pool was clean and large enough for all the kids to play. Nearby to Bergerac with lots of easily reached day trips. Would definitely return. "
