Clean, comfortable and quiet! Everything I needed. The shower head was a bit big for the shower but was easily navigated. The most challenging part was the lack of parking or a drop off area to unload/load bags. Overall, a very positive experience and excellent location.

Super stay for 2 nights. Staff attentive and helpful. If you have issues with stairs, be sure to ask for a room that doesn't require extra stairs even after exiting the elevator/lift. Only down side was the occasional noise ar street level, but that's not the hotel's fault. The closeness to the train station made the area worthwhile.

Our flight from Heathrow was canceled and we spent all night at the airport until the next morning. I was able to book a room at Malmaison Reading for the next night. We made it there around 8:00 am. They prioritized getting a room turned around for us so we could have a very early check in. They brought us complementary coffee and croissants while we waited. This was first class guest service and was such a welcome relief after a bad service experience at the airport.

Very convenient location, right front of the station. Front is always staffed and provides sense of security especially at late hours. Interior has been renovated and look new, good amount of amenity. Bed was comfortable and shower ran smooth, and bathroom was big. Overall it was good value.
