“We had an absolutely wonderful time at this log cabin! It was exactly as described, sparkling clean, and incredibly comfortable. It is a beautiful property. We loved sitting on the porch, dipping in the waterfall, and just generally relaxing. “We had a great time golfing, hiking and exploring the Wilmington shops and restaurants. The house has lots of charm but is on the older side. Some cosmetic updates have been made such as new beds(very comfortable), great heating and A/C, new deck to enjoy the outside and fresh paint and modern decor inside. The bathrooms could use update and repair. Large groups should confirm that all bathrooms are functional before booking. Overall a nice place to stay.”

“This place is gorgeous! Really beautiful property, down a long secluded dirt/gravel road. Several friends and family stayed here with me for my sister's wedding. The hummingbirds in particular are just amazing (dozens of them!!). We slept eight folks here, one on the futon and one on a blow up bed. I will say the bedframe in the primary bedroom is a bit squeaky. But overall a lovely place to stay, very nice setup for hosting people for dinner.”

“The house was nice and worked for our family. We were able to fish, kayak and swim. There was plenty of outdoor space to play games and spread out. There were plenty of outdoor chairs to use and beach towels as well. The kitchen was very well appointed with dishes and all the utensils that we needed. I was disappointed with the cleanliness.
