“As the listing said, this was a clean, no frills 2 story old farmhouse. The A/C is provided using 1 window unit on each floor, which along with the ceiling fans kept everyone comfortably cool. The upstairs unit was loud in the bedroom where it was placed, so that room wasn't used for sleeping. The water pressure in the shower was very low but did the trick, just plan on spending a bit more time in there! “Our group of 8 adults stayed on the property after kayaking the Kickapoo. There was plenty of room for all of us. Had a bonfire and could see all the stars in the open view. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the barns was so peaceful. There were lots of thoughtful touches like having spices/seasonings for cooking and coffee pods. We would stay there again!”

“This old farm house is at the end of a long drive-way to give you solitude. The beautiful bluffs of Vernon County surround you for wonderful views. I've been coming back here every year for like 4 years running because I know I'm going to get a peaceful stay here. I strongly recommend this place is you just want a lovely place to relax in.”
