We experienced a power outage at around 2:00 AM, and by the time we checked out at 8:00 AM, the electricity still had not been restored. Although the hotel had a generator, it only powered the elevator and hallway . Without electricity the AC wouldn’t work ,which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable, and no one was able to sleep.
I spoke with the front desk, but they placed the blame entirely on the power company and did not offer any form of compensation or discount. I even mentioned that I would have slept better in my car, but that did not change their response.
Overall, the lack of support and customer care during this situation was disappointing
