“The Mermaid’s Pearl was a comfortable fit for my son (19) and me. It is located in a quiet complex with a beautiful view from the balcony. The studio is a perfect size for two people and was very clean. We enjoyed the local restaurant (Sudi’s) and the pool just outside the front door, as well as the short walk to the Safire Beach complex (local coffee shop and eateries on the beach). “Location was good. Best advice. Go down the stairs and use walkway under the building and to the left. Otherwise you have to go up and down huge hills. Power on the island goes out for a couple hours a day because of the load. Nothing the owner has control over.”

“The property was clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive to my needs. The second day the power was out the whole time. I requested a refund even though the outage was beyond his control. He gave me a refund for the second day. He was very accommodating. It’s a very beautiful property with an ocean view. I would recommend this property because it was comfortable and clean. If the power hadn’t gone out it would have been a very nice stay.”
