About this property
Mountain Views From Every Direction
New for 2025: Brand New 8 Person Hot Tub added to the back patio area
New for 2023: All New Towels, linens and Kitchen supplies. New Kitchen Table, New Couch, New Large Family Table, 3 New T/V's. We have also added Starlink Hi Speed Internet to the property.
Coming 2024: New Grill, Fire Table and Patio Furniture.
We have the best location for a rental home in Red Lodge; we are close to town (4mi), the ski area (3.5mi), a local fishing lake, and have the added benefit of being next to National Forest Land. We have amazing mountain views without any obstruction. We are only 4 miles outside of the center of town but you would think you nestled in the Mountains. The home sits on a 1 acre lot right next to the national forest. If you enjoy hiking you can drive down the road to Wild Bill Lake or just walk right up the mountain behind the house. For those that would rather look at mountains than hike up them you don’t have to look far because you have mountain views from every area of the house. We are only 3.5 miles to the ski lift and 5 miles to the Beartooth Scenic highway (which you can take to the NE entrance of Yellowstone National Park approximately 60 miles away). We also are available to help you design the perfect vacation and activity level for your group (request more information after booking).
Our home is professionally cleaned after use so you can relax knowing everything is perfect.
The house is 2 stories with 4 bedrooms and a large oversized loft (The house has 4 Kings, 1 queen, 2 single, and 1 sofa pull out). It will comfortable sleep 16 people and has 3 full bathrooms (1 with a jacuzzi tub and steam shower). We have a washer, dryer, kitchen with all appliances and utensils for feeding large groups. We also understand the stress of traveling with little ones and we provide a basic pack n play for their comfort.
We would love to host your group and in the future will be offering additional local experiences for those looking for a little more adventure.

Home was absolutely perfect for our family. Beautiful home, plenty of space with everything you would need. And the location is like 10 minutes to town surrounded by mountains and plenty of local exploring. Def recommend!!!
This property is a show stopper. Everyone needs to stay here. The host is Excellent with all the options to help make our stay the best possible vacation. The house is beautiful with the ability to host everyone.
This property is fantastic (breathtaking views) and the service from the host and caretaker was exceptional! We look forward to staying at this property again!
The property was perfectly situated back in the mountains but, close to Red Lodge town center. We enjoyed awesome hiking, skiing, and family time together here!
We had a wonderful stay at this house! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their hospitality was outstanding—they went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit with some of the best views. Whenever we had a question or needed anything, they responded promptly and were always happy to help. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their guests’ experience. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a warm, hospitable, and responsive host!
This is a beautiful house. Check in and out were easy. We
had no problems at all.
It's a 5-10 minute drive to the ski hill. Would definitely recommend.
We had a great time. The house is laid out well were all 10 of us felt very comfortable at all times. When we had more family over, it was just as easy to settle in. The 3 different conversation spaces are great. Beds were comfortable. Hot Tub was nice. Wildlife all around. We took the trip up the dirt road into the campsite areas and stopped along the way to enjoy the streams. Close enough to town that it was a 5 min drive but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. The pics are accurate. The staff...so nice. We wanted for nothing. :)
Views were amazing and location to Red Lodge Mountain was perfect. I think the most impressive aspect was the customer service we received. Connor was wonderful! He found out we had infant on the trip so got the pack and play available and in an easy location to find so it was ready when we arrived. He also found out we were planning to grill so brought the grill out (wasn’t there as it is normally only a summer option) with extra propane. Customer service and cleanliness of home was the best I have seen!
Property was well kept and clean. Close proximity to the ski resort was a great bonus. The listing stated there was a hot tub and we were disappointed that there wasn’t one. We did notify our host and they changed the listing. They left a $75 gift card to a local restaurant to correct the mistake . It would have been nice to have a discount per night or a cleaning fee waived for the mistake.
We did all our own cooking for the week we were there. Additional cooking pots and a griddle for pancakes would be a helpful addition. Extra blankets are needed for each bed.
We enjoyed our stay and the home was lovely otherwise. Thank you.
I cannot say enough great things about this home and our experience. We booked it almost a year in advance for our extended family of 12 to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. Right when we booked it, Bill (the host) reached out and extended his congratulations to my parents and he offered many fun adventures we could all do together. Bill was always quick to respond with any questions we had in a timely manner. He not only provided great recommendations for us, but also provided phone numbers, websites and addresses. When we arrived, Conner, the property manager, had bought a 60th anniversary cake for us all to share, along with 2 bottles of wine and a welcome basket full of treats. He stopped over to introduce himself and see if we needed anything and he offered us many insights and suggestions of things to do during our stay. Whenever we needed anything, he came over and dropped things off whether it was more toiletries or paper towels, garbage bags or coffee filters. He was extremely responsive. He stopped over to pick up garbage and always responded quickly if we needed anything.
The property itself was absolutely stunning! It’s just as the pictures look. Mountain views everywhere along with hiking trails and a fun little lake nearby to go fishing. We enjoyed evenings on the patio around the gas fire. Our week went by too fast. I can’t say enough great things about the home, the beautiful outdoors, the location and the hosts. You will not be disappointed!!
Our stay was wonderful, we had 10 family members. We had our Thanksgiving there. The owns and caretaker were helpful and very kind . We will be happy to stay there again
This house was perfect for our group of 10. The views are amazing!

Lovely property just outside of Red Lodge in Custer Forest…feels both close to everything and close to nature. Easily accommodates family and friends. Wish the kitchen was better designed since we are a big cooking family. House manager was great and super helpful.
Conner was very helpful and prompt in getting information to us while we were there. We had the BEST time ever. Great memories for us all. thank you so so so very much.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. It was perfect for our family of 15.....8 adults and 7 children. We hiked the mountain, behind the house, saw bear across the road, went white water rafting, went to the Pig races and enjoyed the town of Red Lodge and just had a great time there. Thank you

Great location, spacious comfortable, clean home with everything you need.
We had a sibling gathering of 8 adults. All unanimously agreed the location was perfect. The location was quiet, with very little traffic and the views are breathtaking. We have pictures of numerous widelife including moose, deer, foxes, and coyotes. There are Mountain View’s from all sides of the house. There interior is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The beds provided a very sound night of sleep. The bathrooms are clean and enough for our crew of eight. The gas stove in the living room provides a warm, relaxing ambiance after a day of hiking and sightseeing. Although we watched very little TV, the Directv offers a wide variety of choices to view. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with all the necessary cooking/eating utensils. There are laundry facilities and three 50 gal hot water heaters so no one runs out of hot water! We will DEFINITELY stay here again! Bill Maute responded to one issue and resolved it immediately and is a nice person to talk to.

5 star. More money than I wanted to spend but a great place to stay
Great place to stay. Long drives to Yellowstone Park, so staying in Cody area would of shorten drive time. But awesome close to beartooth hwy.,which was breathtaking!!! White water rafting was easy to get too and very accommodating. Lots of hiking trails close by.

This was the perfect home for our family, from ages 8 to 91. We loved everything about it!
I use VRBO for most all our family travels. This house and location was one of the best. The house was equipped for all our needs. All we purchased besides a little food ...was a deck of cards, and we left those behind for future use by future renters. Everything went smoothly, and we experienced memories of a lifetime. It truly was perfect.

Nice house, great location.
This house accommodated our family well (8 adults, 3 kids). The beds were super comfortable, and the card table provided allowed for all to have a place at a table. The living room seats 6, so we had people on the floor, and the lighting in the kitchen and dining room was very poor. We make all our own meals during our stays, so that was frustrating. All-in-all, a very nice place to stay.
