It was absolutely amazing , peaceful and relaxing but with so much to around the hotel as well. My fiancee particular loved the karaoke . For me the turtle swimming , relaxation and food (calamari best I ever had )

The beach was clean and pristine. The hotel has a variety of sporting activities you can sign up for and you can also take part in baby turtle release. The hotel staff are friendly. Hotel breakfast buffet is so so. The only downside is the beach has lots of sandflies, two weeks after our return the sandflies bites still itches. Indeed the use of insect repellent is necessary. The hotel does provide repellent near the beach. We stayed in the two-bedroom hillview deluxe room. The room was spacious for my family consisting of two adults and two children. The room does come across as dated and needs some renovation. Some parts of the room (e.g the bathroom countertops) was also not well cleaned so housekeeping needs improvement.

My most disappointing hotel experience

The hotel is in need of a renovation. The first day we stayed we got food poisoning, there are no other dining options that looked enticing nearby so we were forced to eat all our meals at the hotel and it is the worst food I have eaten on this trip. The towels are old and rough, everything is dated and although the team are nice, it cannot make up for the experience. The kids room is dark and dingy, the table tennis rackets etc are falling apart, the hand soap dispensers are broken etc etc

Sewage smell in bathroom

The view from our suite was breathtaking but our stay was a but ruined by the sewage smell coming from our bathroom. We had high expectation but was disappointed with the condition. Not a prestige suite afterall. Breakfast was set up late when it was supposed to start by 7am.
