"Pretty good stay and the breakfast is so good. Owners were wonderful. My only gripe would be the wifi. After 6 pm it's so slow so I assume other guests are using it, but it is unusable in the evenings so had to buy phone data just so i could send emails."

"The hotel is superbly placed in this charming little town, opposite a fabulous restaurant and a short walk down to the river. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful and our room was very clean and comfortable (a tad dated, but charming nonetheless), complete with a bath as well as shower. The continental breakfast (additional charge) was plentiful in a lovely little dining room. Parking was available about 50m from the hotel (pot -luck). We can highly recommend this hotel."

"As a family of four with a 6-year-old and 8-year-old, staying in a 2-bedroom villa was ideal for us. It was spacious, clean and afforded us the privacy we wanted. The hotel amenities were super: a huge outdoor heated pool, bikes to borrow to explore the grounds of the neighbouring chateau and indoor spa (and pool) facilities. It was wonderful to enjoy an indulgent breakfast every morning and we dined in at the hotel’s restaurant one evening, outside on the terrace. All in all a wonderfully spoiling three nights’ stay at Domaine de la Bretesche. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable! We would definitely recommend and hope to return one day."
