Minneapolis - St. Paul Regency Hospital Hotels

"Well, upon checking in they gave me a room someone was already in. Embarrassing! The new room was clean and nice though. Parking is $30/ nightly which is insane to me especially given the area the hotel’s location is in. Only had 1 issue with one staff member. He wasn’t the best. Security they have over night was nice."

"There was no breakfast"

"This was a spacious room with a useful desk to get work done. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was a hot and cold buffet and food and drinks are available 24/7 just behind the front desk plus a convenience store on the ground floor. The location was fine for walking to the convention center, about 10 minutes, and much less expensive than hotels adjacent to the conference. The downtown area felt safe during the day but was deserted at night even on the weekend (I walked fast). "

"Cosmos closed without notice. Wanted supper after traveling a few hours late, but closed. Shower head did not work room 1414. Went for breakfast on Sunday, we waited 30 minutes for our meal. I think waitress forgot to enter meal. Then witnessed male push away the small female waitress at the till or whatever it is called it was uncomfortable and abusive. Made us very uncomfortable. She was a quiet sweet waitress that probably was learning and English iffy. But we did not like it. We were offered no discounts for waiting or explanation for delay. I have never sent a review. I am not a pretentious complainer that nit picks. The lofton is a very nice place to stay and I have no other complaints. I would stay again. Beautiful and location is everything."

"There was construction over the whole place. The entrance was being jack hammered when I was trying to check in. They just gave you a paper apologizing. Tons of workers every where. They were recreating hallways. The elevator was so smelly that we took the stairs to the third floor. There weight room was missing a weight from the set. Nothing below 10. Tiny area. In order to eat break they opened up a conference room which was also a storage room. Manager was nice and helpful. Changed room floors. Due to being there for a concert hotel prices were hiked way up which definitely shouldn’t have been for these conditions. Also made it impossible to switch hotels. Hotel should have disclosed construction before people booked."

"Very happy with this hotel. Excellent location. Rooms are nice and staff is friendly and very accommodating. I stay here monthly. "
