"JAZ Belvedere has got to be one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. Lovely staff, spacious rooms, amazing pool and beach. Several activities such as Zumba on the beach, kids disco in the evenings, a kids club with crafts and games. Food for vegetarians wasn’t the greatest as part of the buffet however luckily the chef made sure we were fed well and cooked suitable dishes everyday. Breakfast was the best with lots of options from eggs to various types of bread, lots of fresh fruit and veg too. A pasta bar everyday during lunch and dinner was great too. Our first time in Egypt and we will definitely come back again. "

"Overall, we had a nice stay. The room and the bathroom were huge and were cleaned regularly. The AC however, didn't work very well, especially during nighttime (our friends who were staying on the same floor, but in a different unit had the same issue). We could not get the temperature below +22 C on some of the nights, so getting good sleep was not always easy. The food was fine overall, however, we expected more variety of fish and seafood at the main restaurant. It was difficult to get a reservation at certain a la carte restaurants (I was determined and came to relations desk 3 times during the stay, so I got mine) - you can make it for only 3 days in advance. Then some of them are not as good as expected and service feels rushed (we had such experience at Mangal and Brazilian). Asian and Turkish were amazing - both food and service. Coffee was delicious (I drink black, my husband and in-laws - latte), especially across the street from the beach bar's entrance. Entertainment was great. Hardworking and talented! I know, it's not the warmest season (mid-Feb), so water in all the pools was ice cold, except one heated pool in front of the reception building, so everyone tended to stay there, so getting a vacant spot was not always easy. Service was overall good, we haven't noticed any special treatment after tipping staff however :)) "

"The hotel itself is stunning and very picturesque. The property is beautifully maintained, and the overall atmosphere feels luxurious. The hotel is also very clean, and the staff are polite and welcoming. However, the vegetarian options are extremely limited. The only choices available were grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, and rice. There was a pasta station, but for an all-inclusive resort, you would expect a much wider variety of vegetarian dishes. Communication was also challenging at times. Many staff members struggled to understand English and often relied on AI to communicate. Even something as simple as requesting a cup of oat milk became unnecessarily difficult. Overall, the hotel is visually impressive with great servic, but the limited vegetarian options and communication barriers made the experience less seamless than expected. "

"I stayed at Cleopatra Adult only resort for five nights . Room: My room on arrival was dirty and had mould all over the bathroom. It looked unwashed and unkept. I was disgusted. The toilet was also unwashed and had dirt black stain inside the WC. I had to use the restaurant toilet. I requested for a room change. I was taken to a room on the 6th block which smelled like a pit latrine. The next day I was given another room which still had mould but was not as much as the other. The bathroom walls had blacks stains and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. The room it self was okay, a good sized double bed and enough wardrobe space. Food : The food was a 7/10. The only drawback was we had only three fruit options for six days which was quite upsetting. Activities: The hotel is very boring. They barely had any activities planned throughout my stay. There was only a foam pool party on Valentine’s Day and that was it. The open space for night games wasn’t used once till I left. Drinks: The fruit juice was crap. Highly diluted with water….. water was better than that. Alcohol wasn’t original, as they didn’t taste as they should. Staff: Most were quite respectful but some were very defensive when asked questions while others kept asking “ when are you leaving?” which I found quite ridiculous. Overall, I believe this hotel should pass as a 3star hotel at most as it doesn’t meet the standards of a five star hotel in my books. The hotel needs serious renovation."

"The service was great. The people were nice despite language challenges. It’s insane how they work round the clock with a smile. The bathrooms could have been more updated, with occasional challenges for hot showers. Food was good, and weather was amazing. Kids loved the aqua park which was our main reason for choosing this resort. "

Reception: Where Christmas Decorations Go to Die You walk in and are immediately greeted by a Santa with demon eyes, surrounded by “festive décor” that looks like it was rescued from a skip. A ripped pillow stuffed with grey fluff pretending to be snow? Honestly, I’ve seen more convincing holiday spirit in a morgue. Then comes the reception staff: a miserable man who slags off guests in Arabic, confidently assuming no white person understands him. Bad luck mate — we understood every word. Rooms: Biohazard Zones The rooms should come with a health warning. • Urine-stained bed linen — repeatedly. • Floors that look like they’ve never met a broom. • A bathtub decorated with cigarette ends and burn marks, as if someone had hosted a bonfire in it. • A sewage smell from the bathroom strong enough to qualify as a chemical attack. We were moved… straight into another disaster. Dust thick enough to write “clean me” — which stayed there for five days. Bed linen so revolting we slept on our own towels like refugees escaping the plague. Their excuse? “The cleaner doesn’t understand English.” You don’t need English to understand soap, water, or basic hygiene.
