“What’s not to like? This is a great property for some nature connection that I needed. The owner was very nice and helpful as I had never visited this area. The property is clean and well kept. I basically fished for several hours in the morning/early afternoon on the Hiwassee River and then sat on the front porch and watch deer and other wildlife on the property. ”

“My husband and I selected this rental for a spring break getaway. The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us. The cabin was very clean and the host left freshly potted flowers on the deck. When we weren’t hiking we spent most of our time out on the deck. It seemed to add extra living space. The location was convenient to shopping and hiking. Looking for accomodations close to Cleveland as we were attending a New Years conference, and hotels were all booked, and for a family of 5 is always a challenge to find a place big enough within a budget. This place hit the mark in both. The owner is super attentive and responsive. Tucked in the woods but super acessible. Wish we could have more time to explore the beautiful setting. “Beautiful cabin just very cold and the windows let in a draft because it was 13-16°. If it had a oven or a stove it'd be perfect otherwise it's wonderful for a weekend stay.”

“We had a wonderful weekend at the Mayfly cabin celebrating my husband turning 50! Although the weather was unpredictable it didn’t stop us from enjoying the cabin. Comfy beds, pillows, couch, etc made for a cozy day. The only reason I gave 4 stars for cleanliness was due to a dirty bedspread and towel on one of the beds, and a pile of dead ants in the shower.
