I stayed at Travelodge (North Virginia St., Reno) for two nights just this week (June 2024), and my experience with their service and staff was terrible. I called the front desk at 5 a.m. before going to work to request that my room be cleaned. The man who answered told me I needed to call back at 7 a.m. I asked why he couldn’t just make a note of it, but he said he couldn’t. So, I called again at 8:30 a.m. and informed the woman at the front desk that my room needed to be cleaned. She said “okay.” However, when I returned that evening for my second night stay, my room was exactly as I had left it—completely untouched. I called the front desk again, and she told me that no one was available to clean the room. I was very frustrated, but there was nothing I could do at that point, so I asked for clean towels and toiletries. I waited almost 30 minutes. When someone finally came, she (staff) knocked once, and by the time I opened the door, the staff member was already walking away. She had left the items I requested on the dirty floor outside my door.
What a terrible service experience! No plans of staying again in this place!!!
