Also on the Baltic trail the pier can be reached with the barrier-free access to the beach and the tourist company desk in 1000m for wheelchair users. Idyllic small holiday resort between the Baltic and Salzhaff away from the big cities on the Baltic Sea. The former fishing village Rerik offers many quiet places to rest, beach walking, cycling. Wild romantic cliffs of the Baltic Sea, Haffwanderweg and right in front of the Baltic Sea Cycle Route. Rerik is quite small but has everything you need on site. Some recommended restaurants. Shopping. Various events. Good starting point for day trips to the Hanseatic city of Wismar and Rostock with seaside resort Warnemünde or Münsterstadt Bad Doberan.
