Detached 65m² house on two levels, offering complete privacy, located within the fully enclosed grounds of the 5-hectare château. It boasts a magnificent view of the château and its chapel.
Ground floor: Living/dining room with wood-burning stove (wood provided), 32-inch TV, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, capsule and filter coffee makers, washing machine) opening onto the terrace, separate WC.
First floor: One bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed + one bedroom with two 90 x 190 cm beds.
Bathroom (bathtub) and WC.
Office space for working from home.
Private terrace with garden furniture, barbecue, sun loungers, and access to the enclosed grounds.
Parking outside in the church square; entrance to the cottage via a gate.
Beds made upon arrival, linens and towels, electricity, heating, and firewood included.
Wi-Fi. Baby equipment available (cot, high chair, dishes, baby bath, potty, toys).

Nestled within the magnificent private park of the 18th-19th century Château de Rethondes, and in the heart of the Compiègne and Laigue national forests, the Gîte de l'Armistice is an ideal location for those who enjoy walks in nature and listening to the stags bellow. The gîte is located next to the village supermarket and a Michelin-starred restaurant.
It's an excellent starting point for numerous nature walks and for visiting the region's tourist attractions: Armistice Clearing and its Wagon (2.7 km), Medieval Castle, Pierrefonds (7 km), Imperial Palace, Compiègne (8 km), Village of Saint-Jean-aux-Bois (8 km), Boatmen's Village, Longueuil-Annel (8 km), Cistercian Abbey of Chiry-Ourscamp (18 km), International City of the French Language, Villers-Cotterêts Castle (20 km), Noyon Cathedral (20 km), Parc Astérix (53 km), Paris (Olympic Games - Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Louvre Museum) (99 km), accessible via Compiègne train station (8 km), Charles de Gaulle Airport (72 km).
