Villa Alexandros is a fully restored (2022) beautiful stone build construction, that is dated back to 1885. It is located in the picturesque village of Skouloufia, just 18km from Rethymno town. In front of the villa, there is a paved patio area with a private 30sqm swimming pool that also includes a children's pool , with sunbeds and umbrellas. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 ensuite full bathrooms, and a simple WC.



On the ground floor, there is a living area with a fireplace and a TV set. Three steps lead, through a stone beautiful arch, to a fully equipped open-plan kitchen area. There is a large dining table, a large fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an espresso coffee machine, and all modern appliances. Next to the kitchen, there is a WC and a utility room with a washing machine. Furthermore, on the ground floor, there are three bedrooms (2 of them with a double bed each and one with 2 single beds) all with en suite bathrooms. From the kitchen, there is access to the veranda, equipped with patio furniture, a large stone-built sofa, and a built-in BBQ with a traditional oven.The first floor of the building is closed and not accessible.



Skouloufia village has 2 traditional tavernas, a traditional kafenion, and a mini-market. The nearest supermarket, as well as the sandy beach of Stavromenos, is about 8 km away. The archaeological site of the ancient village of Eleftherna (4 km) where one of the most internationally important excavations and archaeological museums is a must-visit. Also, the famous monastery of Arkadi (8 km) with its renovated buildings and museum is a recommended visit. A car is essential, and there is free parking at the villa.
