Great week in a lovely well maintained property

We had a lovely stay in this villa - Markos was brilliant & kept us well informed during our stay. He provided us with a brilliant restaurant suggestion, Prima Plora, highly recommended. The villa is fairly remote, so a car is necessary, but you are a 15 minute drive away from many great places & beaches.

The villa was beautiful and our stay was perfect. Nothing differs from the description and the photos just don't do it justice, the place is stunning. Easy drive or walk to the nearest village. Markos was very welcoming and made sure he was at our disposal for everything we needed and our stay was just perfect. I would highly recommend staying at Eva Villas. Make sure you get a car rental as the place is not easily accessible by public transport..

Perfect getaway

The property is not easy to get to but it is worth the effort to make the trek. Having a rental car is a must since you are in between two cities and up in the hills. All the arrangements for pier and airport transfers were completed perfectly. The best part was having a chef prepare a dinner for our group one night! Just perfect.

Wonderful stay

Markos is a gracious host - the house was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, as my husband and I celebrated a week of our honeymoon! We rented a car (through Markos also) and with GPS it was super easy to get around and the lovely town of Rythemno had plenty to offer (we highly recommend Upano Restaurant, about a 12 min drive away - delicious!!) I wish the pool had been heated, but only because it wasnt super hot, so the pool could be cold..but it was still beautiful and the backyard was great for lounging and the views were breathtaking too (get up for sunrise, it's worth it!) Thank you Markos! We hope to come back:-)

Highly recommend staying at this gorgeous villa!

This property is perfectly suited for your large group. Comfortable and clean accommodations both inside and outside of the villa. There are herb gardens located all around the property that make the air smell wonderful! The view from atop the hillside is unbelievable. It can be a bit tricky to navigate your way up there but our host was kind enough to meet us and lead the way. The heated pool was not available to us, which we didn't know before check-in and was a slight disappointment, but that is likely because we came during the off season months. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying experiencing this beautiful villa and it's surrounding neighborhoods and beaches.

Great villa with a magnificent view, great and large pool and perfect sized rooms

The owner Markos was very kind and arranged everything perfectly for us. He even arranged the rental car for us and someone picked us up at the meeting point to escort us to the village. As we arrived we were stunned!!! The villa was even better than we hoped for. On pictures you can’t really see how spacious everything is but in real life it was even langer than expected. The rooms are very large and everything was very clean. Every two days the cleaning lady came and every day someone took care of the pool. If we go back to Crete we are sure choosing this villa again.

Beautiful villa!

This was a great place for us to relax after our busy itinerary of the other Greek islands. Markos was a great host! He organized our pick up from the port and return to the airport at the end of our stay. Even though Markos is a very busy nautical captain, he took the time to reserve an amazing restaurant reservation for us and arranged our rental car. The view from this villa with it's private pool is second to none. Although up on the mountain, it's a hop-skip-and a jump to town or some very gorgeous unpopulated beaches 8 minutes away in La Playa. I would definitely return and recommend this villa to anyone visiting Crete. Perfectly situated between Heraklion and Crete. Thanks for everything, Markos!

Tranquil and picturesque eco villa overlooking the Sea of Crete/Aegean

Eva Villas are 2.5m/4k by road from the sea/highway, elevated approx. 270m above sea level. Thoughtfully designed and planned by Markos the owner, the villa gardens, patio and swimming pool benefit from non-overlooked positions, but, see the sun most of the day looking north across the bay whilst the sun sweeps from right to left. The gardens/patios are well appointed with sun shades and sun beds, virtually every part of the villa grounds/plot is ‘usable’ space. Close to nature, you’re surrounded by the sound of cicadas, goats and sheep, you’ll hear the gentle tinkling of goat bells on the hill – if you want to get even closer to the goats, just leave the gate to the villas open! The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival and pool and villa was cleaned regularly to a very high standard. Great hosts, great aircon, great BBQ, great views, loads of dining space, loads of sitting space, safe for children, no mosquitos (maybe lucky) – a total bonus! Head into the stunning mountains for the real Crete, truly excellent cuisine and hospitality. Cretans are friendly and accommodating people, we'd return in a heartbeat. Car essential.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Das Haus ist leider etwas schwer zu erreichen, aufgrund der Straßenverhältnisse. Zudem liegt das Haus sehr weit oben auf dem Berg und man kommt nicht einfach so in die Stadt. Für einen Erholungsurlaub wunderbar, wenn man jedoch Teenager dabei hat, langweilen die sich schon.

Erholsamer Urlaub mit kleinen Tücken

Alles in allem gefiel es uns gut. Es ist ein schönes Haus (etwas abgelegen), toler Terasse und Pool.Allerdings auch mit einigen Mängeln/Schäden welche behoben werden müsste. U.a im OG: Es fehlte die Duschtür, keine Halterung für die Handdusche, vorwiegend kaltes Wasser, die Badezimmertür war eingehauen und aufgrund der fehlenden Duschtür war der Rahmen der Tür aufgeweicht. TV funktionierte nicht. Im UG war eine Rollade defekt. Auf Nachfrage beim Vermieter seien die Reparaturen während der Saison nicht möglich. U.E ist es dann nicht gerechtfertigt den vollen Preis zu berechnen.

Großzügige Villa mit traumhaftem Ausblick

Eva Villas ist ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit großzügigen Außenanlagen und einem traumhaften Ausblick über die Bucht von Rethymno/Gerani. Alleine dieser Blick ist schon eine Anreise wert. Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Sowohl Pool als auch Haus werden während des Aufenthalts regelmäßig gründlich gereinigt, inklusive Handtuchwechsel - ein zusätzlicher Service, der für Ferienhäuser nicht unbedingt üblich ist. Markos, der Gastgeber, ist jederzeit erreichbar und war bei allen Anliegen sehr hilfreich, z.B. bei Supermarkt-, Restaurant- oder Ausflugsempfehlungen (inkl. Google Maps Anreisebeschreibung). Darüber hinaus hat er einen Flughafenshuttle für uns organisiert und war bei der Mietwagenbuchung behilflich. Alles in allem war es ein super Urlaub in einem Haus, das mindestens so schön wie auf den Bildern ist und einem ausgezeichneten Gastgeber. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Une maison parfaite pour les vacances

cette villa est très agréable, le propriétaire aux petits soins des qu il y a un probleme ( nous l’avons appelé deux fois en raison d’invasion de fourmis!!!). Maison au calme et proche de Rethymnon pour les restaurants, commerces…. Seul risque: la maison d à côté est toute proche, si on tombe sur des voisins bruyants, c est raté!

Markos a été un hôte parfait et ce même avan tonture arrivée en organisant la location de voiture. Une fois sur place, le check in après 22h n’a pas posé de problème et nous avons profité d’une superbe villa pendant toute une semaine avec notre bébé d’un an. Calme garanti pour nous car il n’y avait pas de voisins à cette période. Nous reviendrons assurément.

Ein Paradies.....

Es herrscht eine himmlische Ruhe auf dem Anwesen, zum entspannen der perfekte Ort. Die Lage ist war für uns perfekt, Ruhe im Überfluss und trotzdem ist man sehr schnell mit dem Auto ein einer großen Stadt (Rethymno), wo es alles gibt, auch sehr viele gute Restaurants und eine wunderschöne Altstadt. Alles ist wie in der Anzeige beschrieben – wenn nicht noch besser! Auch habe ich noch nie eine „Zwischenreinigung“ bei einem Aufenthalt von nur 1 Woche erlebt. Das ganze Haus ist sehr sauber, die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist ein sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Auch die Vorschläge für Ausflugsziele und Restaurants vom ihm waren sehr gut! Alles im allem war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub, wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder! Vielen Dank Markos!

Neues, grosszügiges, gut ausgestattetes Haus, an ruhiger und schön gelegener Lage hoch über dem Meer. Sehr grosse Terrasse mit Liegestühlen, schattigen Sitzgelegenheiten und Pool, ideal zum Chillen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Starkes Internet im ganzen Bereich. Die Strände mit den kleinen Tavernen, sowie die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Wir haben uns alle sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und würden das Haus wieder wählen.

Perfect Villa with breathtaking views and great service!

We stayed for a week with 4 friends, the villa could accomodate about 10-12 people. The Host is great, very kind and always there when you need him. We had great recommendations for beaches and restaurants and we could always call him. He booked us a table at the best restaurant in the city and it was an unforgettable evening. The Villa itself has breathtaking views of the cretan sea and the hills. Long story short - The Villa was better than in the pictures and the service was perfect. We would definetly come back.

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Ausblick auf das Meehr

Wir waren zehn Tage in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Es hat einen sehr schönen Ausblick von den Bergen aus auf das Meer. Nach Rethymnon sind es circa 12-15 Minuten mit dem Auto. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, und der Außenbereich sowie der Pool sind sehr schön gestaltet. Zusätzlich verfügt jedes Schlafzimmer über eine Klimaanlage, die auch nachts sehr sehr leise ist. Das Haus wird alle paar Tage sehr gründlich von Putzkräften gereinigt. Ein großes Lob auch an Markos, der als Vermieter sehr nett und zuvorkommend ist und tolle Ausflugstipps und Restaurantipps hat. Wir können das Haus zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Wer seine Ruhe in einem luxuriösen Haus haben möchte, ist hier genau richtig aufgehoben.
