New apartment with private pool, close to the beach and the town of Rethymno.

The city apartment Tilio is our offering for those who prefer to spend their holidays next to the beach and the city. Apartment Tilio is located in Platanias area, only 1.4 km away from the beach and 5 km away from the town of Rethymno.

On the exterior: An outdoor & private swimming pool with 4 sun loungers encircled by 20 square meters of grass, olive trees and flowers. There is a large balcony with a pergola table for 4-6 people. Private parking for up to 2 cars.

The swimming pool is 8m x 4.2 m with depth from 1-1.4 m. The swimming pool is private and only for the guests of the apartment Tilio. Nobody else is using the swimming pool.

The garden is 170 square meters in total.

On the interior: The apartment has 2 bedrooms in total. One bedroom has a double bed (1.6 m x 2 m) and the other bedroom has 2 single beds.

There is a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room is capable of accommodating 5 people in its comfortable sofas. The kitchen has a large dining table.

Apartment Tilio is close to everything. Within minutes, our guests can find themselves on the beach or in crowded places.

met twee koppels op vakantie bij de familie Vasilaki (21/6 - 03/07/25

De boeking en communicatie verliep zeer vlot en correct. Het te huren gelijkvloers biedt voldoende ruimte, een heeft een zeer mooi uitzicht op de omliggende omgeving en de zee. Alles is nieuw, kraaknet en wordt zeer regelmatig gepoetst incl. nieuw bed- en badlinnen. Vaso, de moeder én gastvrouw, is een zeer vriendelijke dame, behulpzaam, flexibel en die ons regelmatig verraste met een lokaal gerechtje of drankje. Hun aanwezigheid in de bovenbouw is zeker geen hinder voor de privacy. Onze tevredenheid was dermate groot dat we de gastvrouw met een bloemetje hebben bedacht. Een aanrader dus! Ludo

Tranquil apartment

We had a great stay in June. The apartment is very big, clean and well equipped. Great outside area with comfortable sun loungers by the pool along with a table & chairs. Another outside sitting area at the front with lots of seating & space. Very safe, secure & peaceful. The host was very friendly & helpful. Will definitely return.

Just Perfect For Us

Firstly, the property is stunning and for us ideally situated just outside of the lively areas. Even though we arrived really late at night we were still greeted at the apartment and during our stay were treated to some traditional Greek hospitality in the way of some home cooking and gifts of oil and wine. We would all go back in a heartbeat. Just perfect.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem Appartement mit Privatpool verbracht. Wir können absolut nichts bemängeln. Die Bilder entsprechen zu 100% dem Mietobjekt ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner. Wir fühlten uns von der Familie so herzlich aufgenommen und wurden mehrmals mit Köstlichkeiten und einem Abschiedsgeschenk verwöhnt. Wir hatten einen Mietwagen und waren innerhalb kurzer Distanz sehr schnell an verschiedenen Orten oder Stränden. Wir hoffen, dass wir im 2023 erneut Ferien in dieser tollen Atmosphäre machen können. Wir kommen wieder. Herzlichen Dank für Alles! Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz und bis bald... :-)

Genuine hospitality and excellent apartment !

We stayed beginning of August 2020 in apartment Tilio with our 3 children and enjoyed every day the great hospitality of Vasilaki family as well as excellent apartment facilities ! From the beginning of communication with host family to the end when saying thank you goodbye – Vasilaki family is truly giving you the experience of authentic hospitality! They adjusted check-in and check-out hours on our request, since we were travelling from the west coast of Crete and needed to leave late in the evening to our flight back from Chania – very much appreciated! There was a welcome lunch (fresh salad, fruits & vegetable, bottle of wine) we didn’t expect and were positively surprised. In the middle of our stay, we received a home baked walnut cake and traditional cookies from Mrs. Vasilaki – we were touched by this personal engagement. From daughter Eirini we received really great tips for surrounding area (we tried different and liked Episkopi) and on the south side (we liked Triopetra, beautiful nature, longer way but worth it). The apartment is very clean and tidy, the furniture in all rooms and facilities in the kitchen and bathrooms are absolutely new – pictures are valid and showing the excellent condition of the apartment. The pool was big enough for our family and we enjoyed the new and very comfortable, padded sunbeds. All in all, an excellent stay in a high-standard apartment under ‘umbrella’ of a local family who really takes care of their guests. Thank you so much to the entire Vasilaki family for making our stay on Crete so nice and memorable !!
