"The hotel is old and not very friendly to Americans at least the day I was there. No place to eat, so they charge for dinner buffet and when asked if anything else around I was told by the staff that there is one but you need a reservation. They get you for it is in the middle of no where and we arrived late and did not want to drive 30 minutes for dinner when they were possibly closed. I would find something else if I had to do it again."

"Check in was seamless. We stayed in the Dependance 2 which is very new. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was that they don’t have air conditioning or fans. Most times of the year this is fine as you can open the windows to let in the fresh mountain air, but we were there over a heat wave and it felt pretty warm at night. Buffet breakfast is included and there are lots of options. The location could not be better. It is surrounded by the mountains. You can walk to 3 castle ruins from the hotel parking lot. The ruins are lit up at night and so pretty. The hotel has a restaurant on site, but there are also many restaurants in neighbouring towns. Staff are hard working and readily available. I highly recommend the Dependance 2, and would be happy to come back again. "
