Expedia would not allow me to change my plans. The website stook me in circles and the the wait times for phone calls was listed as over 1,045 minutes. The inflexibility cost me $250. Juding by the inability to contact Expedia to change plans while traveling or for anything else for that matter, they just lost a repeat customer. Their charge on my Visa will be disputed. Sad.

Awesome clean rooms good stay- Strong safety warning (Sandman Revelstoke BC), the overhead sign that reads-Pet Friendly- over the pedestrian walkway is only secured by one screw. It is large in size and is glass or plastic. In strong winds the sign looks to be ready to fly off and possibly hit a passing person or pet 😬.

Second time staying at Sandman and its great place for a great price. Arrived early and riom was ready. Minor toilet clog which was dealt with immediately and also given $20 food voucher to use at Dennys.

This stay was genuinely disappointing. I usually really like Sandman properties and find them to be reliable, comfortable options, but this location is in noticeably poor condition. The staff were kind and helpful, but the building itself is old, heavily worn, and not well maintained. The moment you walk through the front door, there’s a strong, unpleasant smell that sets the tone for the rest of the hotel. The hallways and rooms are dated, and in need of deep cleaning and significant repairs. Even the lighting is bad, feels like a hospital not a hotel. Surfaces are damaged, fixtures are tired, and the overall environment doesn’t feel fresh or inviting. I don’t say this lightly - I wouldn’t stay here again. If this were the only hotel available in Revelstoke, I would choose not to visit. It’s that far below the standard I expect from this brand.

Our room was disgusting- hair in bathtub drain, food and crumbs underneath sofa bed, table was dirty. The room was very outdated. I asked for another room or room to be re-cleaned - neither could be accommodated.

Don’t expect a luxury experience but well worth the money. Microwave and mini fridge let you buy food at the grocery store instead of buying at restaurants everyday during those week long ski visits. Always coffee at the front desk ready to be poured.. Hot tub, pool and gym are all well maintained. Denny’s within the hotel is always good for a morning breakfast.

Pull-out bed was awful. Ended up pulling the mattress off onto the floor. The pool and hot tub are outdated but clean enough. Water pressure in the shower was good but it was barely tepid for heat (likely due to demand). Upside, it was quiet at night.
