"A beautiful location and cabin! Communication was excellent, answers to our questions usually within minutes. We had a great stay in this very quiet and peaceful little corner of the world! The sunrises are spectacular!Our dog enjoyed her first ever beach walks and dog friendly cabin too!!!A real 10/10"

"The cottage suite was good size complete with kitchen and balcony overlooking the water. The decor was minimalist if you like that type of place, but felt somewhat lacking in warmth. The check-in location was wonky and while instructions were given, the lady who did the checkin was rather matter of fact, seeming not real approachable. Overall everything was clean and worked."

"I was lucky to book Robinson's Cottage #2 to stay on 6/28/26 night due to a cancellation. There are 2 bed-rooms in the unit. The space is very comfortable for 3 of us. The screen house is very nice, I can enjoy the creek next to the cottage during the night. The only problem is no wi-fi, it is my fault, I didn't read the description the #2 Cottage carefully when I book the reservation. This is the 1st time I have no wi-fi for staying at somewhere during traveling. I have to drive to a place within the Robinson's cottage and sit in my car to use their wi-fi (no password is needed). The only reason I didn't give a 5-star rating is No Wi-Fi. The owner was very nice and drove his truck and lead me to the #2 cottage site."

"We had an excellent stay at Birch Haven! We loved the house; it was cozy, clean and there were thoughtful touches throughout. We felt at home instantly. And that porch! We spent hours birding and watching the tide change; we even saw seals! Jing-Huey was very responsive and helpful via text with any questions we had. The location is private and so peaceful, but also close to all the sights in the Lubec area. If you want unmatched peace and quiet, this is the place for you!"

"Mary, the host, was excellent with communicating any requested info about the house and town of Eastport. We were three older couples who needed comfortable bedrooms, and happily all beds were very comfortable with no lumps or sags. The two queen bedrooms on the second floor both had roomy closets and dressers so there was plenty of space to unpack into; the small connecting bathroom had a shower/tub, sink and toilet. Downstairs, the trundle bed/office room had direct access to the bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet, That bathroom also opened to the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area a good size for six people. There were condiments in the fridge from previous tenants, spices, herbs and other basics. We appreciated all of the games in the house and also a great selection of books. The laundry room had a sink, a place to hang clothes if needed, and a closet with extra paper towels and toilet paper. We've been renting houses in Maine for about 20 years and this was among the best equipped for daily needs. The view of the beach and water were wonderful, and the road by the house was perfect for a good no traffic half hour walk."
