First time I stayed at a no-reception hotel. I liked that my room was close to the elevator and right next to the common fridge/cooler.
The blonde younger girl at the restaurant who was by herself during breakfast rudely yelled at me “NO!” when I approached the breakfast area thinking it wasn’t 7 AM yet (it was 7:02 on my watch). When she realized she was wrong she laughed to herself but didn’t apologize. Appreciate the no-fee hotel parking.

Excellent hotel from start to finish! The door access was a little tricky, but easily overlooked with all of the other GREAT offerings, including breakfast! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else traveling to Reykjavik for convenience and comfort.

The hotel staff allows us to check in early. The food in the hotel restaurant is great. However, not much dining options in the town. Close the a few tourist attractions around Lake Myvatn. Along the ring road, so very convenient. Guest can sign up to receive Aurora phone call if they spot one.
