Lovely hotel with a warm welcome and great facilities. Very comfortable room, great free breakfast and really excellent dining in the evening. We saw aurora literally from our bedroom window, and it was only a short walk to go over to the nearby lighthouses for an even better view. Super convenient for Kefavlik airport. Highly recommend.

Lovely peaceful cosy place to stay after a long day exploring. Staff very frirndly and helpful. We didnt manage to dine at the restaurant due to the days we stayed and our itinerary. The buffet breakfast was good my only criticism is there could have been a few more vegan options i.e. butter and yoghurt. But otherwise i would highly recommend this delightful hotel.

I have a wonderful time when I was in Lighthouse Inn. This hotel has an excellent location near a light house. Particular, the front desk stuffs have an excellent service. At the earlier morning 1 am, I was told by front desk stuff that there are northern lights now. It takes me two hours to photo the wonderful northern lights. In more than twenty days travel. I have the best northern lights view.

The two lighthouses that are walking distance away are beautiful, wild and remote. The village itself is charming. We were disappointed that the local museum was closed with no reason given, and we were more disappointed that, even though we asked the front desk to alert us about the Northern Lights, they did not — we missed what other guests said was a great display. Still, the hotel is clean, quiet, cozy and offers a very good breakfast. It was a nice place to land after an overnight flight.

L'hôtel est dans une zone tranquille, près d'un phare, l'océan, et assez proche de l'aéroport, environ 10-15 min en voiture, pratique quand on atterrit très tard, avec accueil ouverte la nuit. On a pris une chambre familiale, très grande pour 4, un coin salon canapé et fauteuil séparait le lit parent des 2 lits simples. Très propre placards, grande salle de bains (douche). Déco scandinave chaleureuse. Petit déjeuner correct efficace qui propose un peu de tout , céréales, petites viennoiseries, crudités, yaourt, pain, fromage, charcuterie, fruits. C'est la deuxième fois qu'on vient en Islande. On avait déjà pris cet hôtel en arrivant la 1ère fois et nous voulions absolument le refaire. C'est un de nos hôtels préféré !

A good spot for a long layover. Close to the airport and some attractions. Be sure to make a reservation for dinner if arriving late. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Also had a nice gathering area for our large group to relax together to plan the next days events.
