Excellent location, great host

The location is perfect! Right in the middle of downtown Reykjavik. The host is prompt in responding and very friendly. Check-in was easy. The apartment is beautiful.

The check-in process was straightforward. The sleeping areas were very nice, and the kitchen was adequately equipped, featuring a large refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom had decent space and included a washer and dryer. However, the showerhead could use an update, as it sprayed water oddly. Overall, this was a good, centrally located place to stay. Please note that parking is paid between 9 AM and 9 PM in designated zones, which have various pricing and restrictions.

Centrally located in Reykjavík with easy access to major tourist attractions, shopping, and grocery. Everything is walkable. Entrance is not obvious at first glance; it is round back. There is no parking with this rental, but you can park in a P3 zone, not too far away for a reasonable price (11/day) vs P1 which is only minimally closer but far more expensive. Good amenities for a short stay. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook and access to laundry. Would recommend.

We had some difficulty checking in after a very long overnight travel and much needed rest. There was no mention of needing to go around the back of the building to find the lockbox so I had to pay for service for my phone so I could contact someone to find out where to go. They did not have bedding for the pullout sofa so we had to wait and I had to contact them multiple times to get it sent. This should be readily available upon checkin as the listing shows this as an option and in order to accommodate the number of people the listing suggests it is necessary to use the pullout. Also once you pull out the sofa the person in the bedroom can’t get out because the pull out is in front of the door. Misleading pictures and not functional!

Die Unterkunft war genau so wie dargestellt und sauber. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet, um für vier Personen zu kochen. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist optimal, um zu Fuß die Innenstadt Reykjaviks zu erkunden. Wir würden hier auf jeden Fall hin zurückkehren!
