Renovated Waterfront Northwoods Cabin with NEW 2024 Pontoon Boat and fire pit

Our quintessential Northwoods cottage is the perfect gathering for a vacation away at any time of year. Our waterfront location is perfect for swimming, fishing, leisure boating (pontoon included), and family retreats in the summer, and is located on the ATV & Snowmobile trails for winter fun. Our cabin is last in the line on this side of the lake making for a quiet and private location for a swing in the hammock or a day of swimming before lighting a fire and sitting out to listen to the bullfrogs welcome the early evening.

The cabin has 2 bedrooms (plus another walk through "bedroom" with a pullout couch) and 1 subdivided bathroom (sleeps 6 to 8). It was completely remodeled with modern amenities in 2021! Located on a secluded bay on 1300 acre Pickerel Lake, you’ll love our place for the ambiance, access to the outdoors, tranquility and privacy.

Our 51 acres includes 2500 feet of water frontage including a majority of the bay. We provide easy access to the lake with two private boat docks including an L-shaped dock with seating and the Brand New 2024 model pontoon boat, and a second dock with canoes and paddles for exploring the bay. The deck overlooking the lake is the perfect place for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail while enjoying the sound of the lapping waves.

Swimming is available at the end of our dock where it is about 4-ft deep with a fairly sandy bottom. We have a swim ladder at the end of the pier. Nearby areas of the bay have more weeds and muddy bottom. Larger areas to swim are available on Pickerel Lake just a short boat ride away, and popular beaches can be found on nearby lakes.

THE CABIN: The cottage is about 1,000 square feet with 500 square feet downstairs and 500 up-stairs. Three bedrooms include three queen beds, and two pull-out sleeper sofas. The loft bedroom includes a TV and love seat. A fully equipped kitchen comes complete with gas stove, dishwasher, and microwave. Also included are wicker patio furniture, hammock, fire pit, propane grill and laundry on-site. The Cottage is equipped with air conditioning and heat, and a propane furnace for optimal comfort all year round. Level 2 Electric car charging for 2 cars with 40 Amps each; gain approximately 30 miles of range per hour.

THE BOAT: Did we mention this rental includes a pontoon boat with no extra fees? There is plenty of room to relax on or fish from our 2024 Montego Bay Fish and Cruise pontoon boat. The boat is available during the boating season (Approximately MAY 1st-October 25th). This 22-ft boat seats up to 12 persons and includes an adjustable bimini top, live-well, a 90 horse 4-stroke Mercury motor, fish finder, and a 27-gallon fuel tank to enable a lot more boating time! A rental agreement needs to be completed prior to your stay.

The pontoon is kept on an electric boat lift making it easy to lower the boat and head out onto the lake. We keep our rental rates for the cottage and the boat competitively priced to keep this a best value rental. For reference, local pontoon boat rentals alone cost approximately $300 per day or up to $2,100 per week (with NO cottage included). Save money with our bundle!*

OPTIONAL BOAT MOTOR RENTALS: We have a 15-horse outboard available to rent for $80 per stay. This can be attached to the row boat and provides access to Crane lake through the culvert. We also have a NEW 2020 model 30-pound thrust Minn Kota Trolling motor and battery available for $20 per stay. Please ask if interested in renting either the outboard motor or the trolling motor or both.

*We may consider rental of the cottage without the pontoon boat at a discounted rate in the following cases:
• If you are renting in May, September or October and your rental period does not include a Friday or Saturday night stay.
• If you are making a reservation within 7 days of your check-in date.
