Hotel surcôté, nous avions regardé les avis avant de réserver et il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'avis négatif. Donc on a reservé. Il n'y a que le personnel qui est sympathique sinon concernant les infrastructures, la restauration cela ne correspond en aucun cas a un hôtel 4 étoiles... Pendant plus de 4 jours la piscine était opaque on ne voyait même plus la 1ere marche de l'escalier tellement elle était sale. Concernant la qualité des produits proposés et la variété on peut considérer que cela correspond à un 2 étoiles. Au niveau de la salle de restauration, c'est carrément un nuage de fumée lors de la cuisson des viandes.... on ne s'y voit plus Même pour un verre d'eau au restaurant il faut faire la queue, pas d'acces en libre service et pas de service à table. Il faut prendre le dessert au début du repas sinon il m'en remette pas. Lors de la soiree sushis à 20h, quand nous sommes arrivés il n'y en avait deja plus. La qualité des boissons est mauvaise, ils servent les boissons avec un "pistolet" donc quand ils servent du jus d'orange et après de l'eau, l'eau à un goût d'orange, idem avec le coca etc... Les glaces sont tres sucrées, seul le gâteau du goûter est bon. A noter le bon emplacement dans une rue avec des boutiques et assez proche de la plage. Un arrêt de bus proche de l'hotel pour aller en visite.

Not a 4-Star Hotel by European or American Standards Here’s my experience, ranked by personal importance: Noise: Every night, the hotel hosts loud music events. If you're hoping for peace and quiet, you won’t get any before midnight. Room Conditions: The room had a strong, persistent odor of humidity from the moment I walked in. There are no blackout curtains, and the bedding and mattress are very low quality—it honestly felt like sleeping on sandpaper. Towels had a strong mildew smell and were of the cheapest kind. The bathroom had visible mold, especially around the shower area, which was quite unpleasant. Shampoo and soap were limited to a single small bottle per day—barely enough for one person. Food & Drinks: The buffet was extremely limited—during my stay, there was usually only one fish and one meat dish. The overall quality was poor; nothing tasted fresh, not even the bread. Most dishes were just bad. No made-to-order omelets in the morning either. Drinks, including soft drinks and cocktails, were machine-dispensed, overly diluted, and frankly undrinkable. Amenities: The TV was a tiny 22 inches—your smartphone is likely a better option. There are no elevators, The hotel does not offer on-site parking, although you can usually find free street parking nearby. The positive: All the staff was very professional

Marathon Hotel = Urlaub bei Freunden

Das Marathon Hotel ist mit 140 Zimmer familiär überschaubar. Nach 3 Tagen hat man die meisten Gäste schon einmal gesehen und es fällt sofort auf wenn jemand abgereist ist. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft. ganz toll ist die Pizza (12-20 Uhr) und das Gyros (20-24) am Pool. Die Cocktails an der Pool- Bar sind sehr lecker. Mittwochs ist griechischer Abend mit Live Musik und Tänzern. Samstags ist eine Live Band mit aktueller Musik am Pool. Rund um das Hotel laden kleine Geschäfte zum Shoppen ein. Auch einige Bars und Restaurants sind im Umkreis von 500m. Kolymbia hat 2 Strände, etwa 500m zu laufen. Nach Lindos oder Rhodos Stadt sind es etwa 25 km und können mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreicht werden. Leihfahrzeuge gibt es an jeder Ecke zu vernünftigen Preisen

Kaikinpuolin onnistunut 8 yötä hotellissa

Siisteys oli hyvällä tasolla. Sängyn alta pölyt oli jäänyt kylläkin pyyhkimättä mutta muuten oli joka päivä siisti ja raikas huone. Pönttöharja oli kulahtanut ja vaihdon tarpeessa.

Hôtel très bien situé entre Rhodes et Lindos. Bon rapport qualité/prix. Les buffets (petit-déjeuner, midi et soir) sont variés et de bonne qualité. Très bonnes pizzas disponibles à la piscine entre midi et 18h00. Dommage que le coin "gyros" à la piscine n'ouvrait que vers 16h00. Chambre grande et confortable, mais mal insonorisée. Le nombre de transats à la piscine est assez limité (alors que nous étions hors saison - voyage en mai - les transats étaient souvent tous pris).

Zuerst einmal kann ich das Hotel Marathon definitiv weiterempfehlen. Das Zimmer war groß und tip top sauber. Das Personal sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Essen für All Inclusive auch gut. Wer keine Luxusunterkunft erwartet, wird hier glücklich, vor allem weil das Preis Leistung Verhältnis sehr gut ist.

Der zweite Teil unserer Rhodos-Reise führte uns zum Marathon Hotel in Kolymbia und was soll ich sagen? Wir sind mehr als begeistert. Die Anlage, das Essen, das freundliche Personal.. alles noch besser, als erwartet. Das Hotel ist etwas kleiner als der Durchschnitt, aber dafür wirkt es umso familiärer und es fällt leicht, Leute kennenzulernen. Besonders die Mitarbeiter Agnieszka und Michali sind uns sehr positiv aufgefallen. Einfach nur herzlich, freundlich und toll! Man hat sich Willkommen gefühlt. Der Hotel Manager ist allgegenwärtig und hat aufrichtiges Interesse daran, dass es den Gästen gut geht. Er fragt stets nach dem Befinden und ob alles in Ordnung ist. Ich habe sogar Feigen von ihm bekommen, weil ich erwähnte, dass ich diese so gerne mag! Mega nett, habe mich sehr gefreut. Der Pool hat eine super Temperatur und ist an der tiefsten Stelle ganze 4,5m! An der Bar gibt’s leckere Cocktails und Softdrinks, mittags kann man sich an der Snackbar mit Gyros Pita und Hotdogs verwöhnen lassen. Wer Pancakes liebt, wird sich über das Frühstück freuen. Alles wird immer sehr zeitnah nachgefüllt. Keine Wartezeiten. 👍 Die Lage des Hotels ist top. Überall Shops, ein Supermarkt, viele Restaurants und Bars. Strand ist etwa 600m entfernt. Im Hotel selbst kann man eine Bootsfahrt nach Lindos buchen. Sehr empfehlenswert! Wir bedanken uns beim ganzen Marathon-Team für den wundervollen Urlaub. ❤️

Endroit propre et nourriture très bonne pour un all inclusive. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique, mention spéciale à Irina qui a été incroyable avec notre fille (nous réclame des nouvelles d’elle tout le temps!) Le seul point négatif est la serveuse désagréable pour le snack qui se permet des réflexions qd on va rechercher des gyros ou des pizzas. Très bon rapport qualité prix, je recommande!!

Excellent value for money, could improve.

Everything it says it does, it does. It is indeed all inclusive and even cocktails are included after 7pm. The pool is nice, (although ludicrously deep) and the grounds are really well maintained. Lots of sun loungers available even if the ones around the pool go very early in the day. Good selection of food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Good air con in rooms which is included and is very much appreciated during the heat wave ! However the dining area was incredibly hot, and although it is all inclusive, drinks are served in very small cups which make it annoying and a necessity to return to the bar constantly. Also the included drinks are not the greatest quality, local soft drinks, beers and spirits that were not amazing. Also, in a very strange turn of events my wife lost a pair of jean shorts during her stay. Our working hypothesis is that they got caught up in sheets when the bed was changed, but housekeeping never found them. All in all, very good value for money for what we paid, but it's very much not a 4* experience. Give it a go!

Hotel v centru městečka. Menší hotel rodinného typu, s příjemným personálem. Pokoj čistý, mohl by být větší ( 2 dospělí a 2 děti). Výborná kuchyně. Jako mínus hodnotím kvalitu pití, nealko nápoje nejsou dobré, víno také ne. Večer u baru pití pouze do plastových kelímků, což na chuti nepřidá. V poměru k ceně však hotel hodnotím kladně.

Siamo stati al Marathon Hotel di Kolibia dal 1 al 6 agosto 2013, pacchetto all-inclusive. Lo consiglierei a chiunque: ottima struttura, tutto molto pulito ed una grande cortesia da parte di tutto il personale. La piscina è molto grande ed il bar a bordo vasca è aperto fino a tardi! Davvero l'ideale per una vacanza tra amici o in coppia, vicinissimo a Fliraki, Lindos e Rodi. Grazie Marathon, vacanza splendida! Ritorneremo!

Pro e contro.

Abbiamo soggiornato io e mio marito in questo hotel a luglio.Avevamo una camera (104) dalla quale si sentitva la musica a palla dei locali circostanti fino a mezzanotte.Il personale tutto carinissimo dai camerieri ai due ragazzi alla reception.Secondo me se curassero un po di piu la manutenzione acquisterebbe molto.Nei negozi che si trovano sulla strada principale qualcuno non rilascia lo scontrino,tolgono l'etichetta da quello che compri e quindi poi non te lo cambiano.Chiedete sempre lo scontrino. La cucina buona ma un po ripetitiva durante una settimana.ll mare e un po distante,ma a prima mattina una passegiata e gradevole,un po meno al ritorno quando fa caldo.Ahh dimenticavo la camera era matrimoniale ma con letti singoli accopiati ma ogni uno con la sua struttura.Scomodissimi! ln bagno la presa elettrica non cera e neanche il phon.La wifi funzionava a tratti e alla fine rinunciavi.Comunque tutto sommato buono,ma non ci tornerrei,ma semplicemente perche non rivado mai dove sono gia stata.
