Mountain retreat

Beautiful, so peaceful, a bit of construction noise on an adjoining property but that was no bother really. We felt totally relaxed and able to get away from it all.

This is a beautiful property. The views from this cabin are unmatched. Truly a sanctuary for those looking to escape the everyday stresses brought on by technology and work. I will definitely book this place again.

Amazing Peaceful Experience

We really enjoyed this space, we took advantage of the area and the back yard and the fire pit. It was so great not to have wifi and have three days away in peace and quiet. We got to spend quality family time together

Very nice place, super easy to get in and out, no cell service until you’re a 5+ minute drive away from the cabin which was very relaxing but could make planning hard if you don’t do it ahead.

Relax at a dream home

The setting was awesome, the windows allowed the outside to come sit on the couch with you. The second level bedroom was quite and the fire pit set the tone for a good family conversation

Amazing

This house was everything we were looking for and definitely one of the cleanest places we have stayed at! Our children cried as we left the driveway as it was their favorite place so far. And as we drove down the road they asked how soon we could go back. It definitely was a gem and we cant wait to go back!

Beautiful Escape

If you are looking for a place to get totally 'off the grid,' relax, and unwind, Tamanawas cabin is for you. It is situated in a perfect location, surrounded by nature, yet not too far away from shops and all the attractions the Mt. Hood region has to offer. The cabin is tastefully decorated, with just the right amenities to make your stay both enjoyable and memorable. The iTrip team who took care of our stay were first class and were on hand before, during and after our trip to make sure our experience was perfect in every way. A great choice for a small group or family.

We were looking for an extended weekend getaway and this delightful cabin in the Oregon pine forest within vicinity of Mt. Hood turned out to be perfect. The property is nestled in an idyllic woods setting. Its layout is an interesting blend of coziness as well as spaciousness. It’s remarkably well-stocked. And while it’s remote enough to be off the cellular grid, it’s also within 10-15 min drive of enjoyable local eateries and grocery shops. All in all, the setup delivered everything we were looking for.

Property was nice. Temps in space were very cold upon arrival. Wood burning stove not adequate for space heating of needed to being spec up from 60 degrees Downstairs bathroom door will not open from outside when shut. This is a saftey hazard.

Perfect getaway

My wife and I were looking for an extended weekend getaway with our two adult kids, and this delightful cabin in the Oregon pine-forest within vicinity of Mt. Hood turned out to be perfect! The property is invitingly nestled in idyllic woodland. Its interior is a welcoming blend of coziness as well as spaciousness, while the exterior (including hot tub, ping-pong table, charming foliage, and a meandering stream rustling over rocks and pebbles) is ideal for relaxation. We also found the cabin remarkably well-stocked, from toiletries & kitchen items to games, puzzles and coffee table books. And while this location is remote enough to be off the cellular grid, it’s also within a 10-15 min drive of enjoyable local eateries and grocery shops. All in all, this was an amazing holiday setup that delivered everything we were looking for.

Just as expected

We spent a week at the cabin as our kids attended alpine race camp up on Mt Hood. Great proximity to the mountain. Wonderful trails from running up the Old Salmon River Trail. Like, amazing! Cabin was a great place to unwind and relax after our days outdoors. Ping pong table was in pretty rough shape and no lights out there made it pretty hard to play. For the length of our stay, a few extra laundry pods and dishwasher tabs would have been nice. Overall we’ll likely rebook for next summer.

Absolutely everything

My husband and I are newly weds! We came here for his birthday and then turned into a little honeymoon getaway! Was our first time in Oregon EVER. It was just more than we were expecting and all of our expectations were met!! Easy access to everything in the cabin to the outside of the cabin. It’s a “off the grid” cabin but so much around you once on the main road. Definitely living the “twilight” dream!

Forest Wonderland

An amazing stay in a beautiful location nestled in the lush woodlands. A very well put together cabin with all you need and more. Our group got to engage easily with the local outdoor activities and really rest and enjoy the cozy warm cabin. Easy access to the local town and WiFi. Also to note, the coffee machine brewed it's last cup and after a message to the team here, they delivered a brand new one! Great job and so thankful for the support!

Wonderful woodland getaway
