“We booked two nights at this B&B. Unfortunately, the first afternoon, the proprietress decided she would start a political discussion.. It concluded with her telling me that she didn’t like immigrants and even her dog, a large German shepherd with the appropriate name Big, didn’t like them either. “He doesn’t want any Mexican chihuahuas or Chinese pugs here.” I didn’t respond despite being appalled. “It was our first time at a boutique hotel. It’ll be our last. Not the hotels fault, we just want more. The staff is excellent. The ac in the room was iffy. The WiFi was intermittent. The mattress was atrocious. The breakfast was ok.”

“The staff were wonderful both in the restaurant and at the front desk. The cleaning crew were very friendly. However, our room smelled very strong of perfume so we switched rooms and that was nice because we had a wooden floor less smell. The rooms are very dated. Also, there’s no coffee in the room. This would be a great addition.”

“Love that the hotel is beside the Mississippi River. There was a wonderful walking path, across the street, along the river. Also Natchez is just across the bridge. The carpet, in the hotel hallway, was stained and dirty. The carpet in our room had snags and a tear which made the property feel worn and less clean. Many of the guests drove commercial pickups and trucks, with a couple large semi trucks and travel buses taking up much of the parking. Those guests stayed multiple nights. The……
